Dahlias said “hold my drink”

AI in the flower world is about managing expectations. Expectation #1 flowers are nature, they are not perfect!
Expectation #2 no it doesn’t come in that color.

It brings a conversation and some education and this flower nerd loves an opportunity to yap about flowers. Also, I see an AI photo and its challenge accepted!

I can appreciate how AI helps get your vision on “paper” especially for those who are very visual people.

This season I grew the Cottage series snapdragons from @farmerbaileyplugs. I tried to get good accurate pictures to show off their colors. These were planted in early March and bloomed in early June, zone 7A. I definitely recommend! These cuties were so prolific, with super long stems and come on…look at all those ruffles. My customers loved them and they were great for wedding work too.

Sanya!!!! Another amazing bride and I was so grateful to be a part of her day. Just the nicest and so positive!

Not’Easter? She and her amazing bridesmaids were unbothered! Her floral vision for her Mystic wedding was perfect and that touch of yellow added some brightness and cheer on a rainy day.

Tell me below what colors I should do next! 👇🏼

Locally grown am I right? I grew these flowers and I this has been the perfect way to highlight and truly appreciate them. Making subscriptions, filling orders, and making stand flowers becomes a bit routine sometimes and I hate that for me.

Happy to make someone a last minute wedding bouquet if needed.

The DIY drama on the wedding Facebook page has been non stop. “Help my flowers are being delivered after my wedding”, “help I got my flowers from X and they are the wrong colors/shorted us 12 bunches” “help my silk flowers arrived and I hate them”.

Erin!!!

So Erin worked at the ambulance with me and everyone knows the rules….you get married I get to do the flowers, but then Erin moved away. She went to North Carolina to become a police officer and be with her soulmate, how cool is that?! She got engaged! North Carolina is a long way to go to do flowers - no hard feelings BUT THEN…..she texted me saying they were getting married in CT and wanted me to do her flowers! 😭😭😭

She didn’t have a lot of requests - red and orange, bright/natural colors, not a lot of pink. September flowers said “say less”.

Thank you for coming home to get married and choosing me to do your flowers girlie! Wishing you and Liam a lifetime of happiness 🚒 🚓

Morgan!

I love a spread sheet with pictures and lists of items needed! While setting up it was clear how much thought Morgan put into every aspect of her wedding day. Her guests truly must have had the best experience.

It was so peaceful setting up flowers at the ceremony site and how cute is that seating chart?! She used it for her shower too and wanted to use it again and fill it with flowers. One of my favorite pieces of the year to design!

Jillian!

Jillian came to me with a Pinterest board filled with expensive flowers. Fortunately it was the color palette she was after and not the actual flowers. She trusted me and BAM! This color palette became a favorite. Perfect for her gorgeous September wedding.
