It’s hard to believe that it has been 17 years since we first met as track teammates and friends. Little did we know back then that our bond would grow into a lifelong sisterhood. V, it is clear that God knew what he was doing, and I am truly thankful for it. I feel incredibly honored to have witnessed such an incredible union between you and your husband this past weekend. Seeing you smile, hearing you talk about your husband, and knowing that God is at the center of your union is truly amazing. V, you deserve nothing but the best in life. Summer Dumps 🤍

Summer 2026 has been amazing ✨ From Wale, learning to swim (not captured), Megan and I starting our 40 Things Before 40 activities, starting the chiropractor 😩, co-hosting a community give-back day with two dope organizations, a random concert night in Raleigh, attending my family reunion, taking a random trip to see my beautiful Gma and picking grapes from her garden , eating, eating and more eating , going to the beach, throwing a surprise party for the boo (he said he didn’t know 👀), and ending the summer in Austin, TX.

And not ONCE did I stay consistent with working out. 🫠😂 I’ll do better, especially since I’m an ex-D1 athlete. At this point, that’s embarrassing.

Summer 2026, you were good to me. 🤍✨

12 years ago today, I walked down the aisle and married my best friend.

Friends since we were 10 years old, and somehow God took that friendship and turned it into a marriage, a family, and a whole life together.

Looking at these pictures takes me back. We were so young and had no idea what the next 12 years would hold. We’ve had some beautiful seasons and some really hard ones. We’ve grown, changed, learned, forgiven, and loved each other through different versions of ourselves.

This anniversary feels different. Maybe because life looks different. We’re older, a little wiser, and we understand marriage in a way we simply couldn’t 12 years ago. Through every season, God has given us grace and continued to remind us to keep Him at the center.

And now, here we are celebrating 12 years of marriage AND getting ready to celebrate your 40th birthday this weekend! 🥹❤️ What a blessing it is to have known you through so many seasons of your life.

First day of 3rd grade! ✨ Where did the time go?!

I didn’t shed a tear this morning, but whew… I’m so proud of the amazing girl Skylar is becoming. 💕 She has ALWAYS had a personality of her own and I absolutely love that about her.

She was so excited about starting a new year, seeing her friends, and her new teacher. I’m praying this year is filled with growth, confidence, and lots of reasons to smile.
