Slowly but certainly it hit me after so many days, that this journey tagged 'Clarion call' has come to an end.
As I begin to reflect on the journey so far, it hit me as if struck by a lightening bolt. I was hurried to my knees by the subtle realization that it has not been by my power or might but by the abundant grace of God which is forever sufficient for me Exo 3:7-9.
Is it the sadness of being posted to Benue state or the nearly endless journey to Wanunne camp from Lagos? Is it the extreme weather condition of the state or being rejected at my PPA just minutes after leaving camp? Is it the search for a new PPA or the flood that plagued my house at 4am? Is it the attack in Wadata, Makurdi where I served or the massacre at Guma LG to usher is into 2018? Is it the struggle to get water to wash, bath and cook or the multiple skin reaction I had to deal with? And so many others that I cannot readily remember at this very moment.
Little did I know that the Lord has already settled my case equipped me with what I needed to face what was to come before it even started. First I met the sensational Clarion Squad. Journeying and camping with these squad was swift, sweet and thoroughly enjoyable. Next he introduced me to NACC family, Makurdi on getting rejected from my PPA and having nowhere to go. Their words of encouragement and hospitality was next to none. An experience that was to change my life for the better.
Then he carefully guided me to SERVICOM CDS Vanguard, there I met inspirational People and some others who will later end up being my trusted circle.
Just in the heat of everything I remember what my mum always told me "The Lord gives no one a task he hasn't already placed in him the necessary means to accomplish it" and now as I begin to jubilate and celebrate in the wonders of God upon my life, I hear a subtle voice in my heart speak and his gentle words; careful child in your celebration, there is greater work to be done for the race isn't over. Greater works he will do than that which he has already done.
I give God all the praise for his protection, guidance and direction.

DIARY OF THIS NIGERIAN YOUTH
In this past 12 months, all I have done is what my nation asked of me and I have done it diligently, devotedly and whole heartedly even if it came at a great personal cost and discomfort yet I am accused of sitting and doing nothing.
I won't let that deter me nor dissuade me into giving up or caving in because that is not who I am. The finest of metals go through fire in the hands of the Blacksmith and the finest gold go through fire in the hands of the Goldsmith so even after my colleagues and I have served our fatherland under the Sun and in the rain though Makurdi even added flood and insecurity to the list and my President went ahead to defame us to the outside world, I stand strong and ready to go on because that is who I am.
I am perseverance,
I am courage,
I am persistence,
I am the vision,
I am the future.
