Huge shoutout to my dancers for putting up with me and my process for the 3.5 months it took to turn this dance into the masterpiece it is. Thank you to everyone who believed in me. I appreciate this opportunity to showcase my talent and I can’t wait to see how much I grow as I continue my dance journey as a choreographer and professional dancer.

To my dancers: Continue to be great and believe in yourself. You can accomplish anything you put your mind to and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I’m so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with such an amazingly talented group of people. taken in University Theatre ODU by @simplyasiaaaa

To my last UDT: This journey has been nothing short of life changing. Every step of the way, I’ve been surrounded by some of the most incredibly talented dancers, and I’m so blessed to have formed friendships that I know will last a lifetime. My heart is full of gratitude for this opportunity. It’s something I’ll carry with me forever.

As a Black woman in this industry, this experience has also been a powerful reminder of the importance of standing in your truth, advocating for yourself, and walking into every room as your most authentic self. That in itself is a win.

To everyone who showed up, supported me, encouraged me, or simply believed in me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love has meant more than you know. I love and appreciate y’all deeply, and I’m wishing each and every one of you nothing but the best in everything you do.

Video coming soon… stay tuned🫣 taken in University Theatre ODU by @simplyasiaaaa

As I continue my dance journey I have improved in so many aspects but my turns have seen the most growth. The first video was when I first started taking studio dance and now I’m working on my triple. This is your reminder to never give up and keep telling yourself you can do it. Doesn’t matter the age you start, what matters is how hard you’re willing to go to achieve your goal. This just motivated me to keep going! by @simplyasiaaaa

Here’s to another successful UDT! This performance really opened my eyes to trying new things and being open to step out my comfort zone. Shoutout to all the people I danced with for making It fun and to everyone else for just having great energy. I love how supportive everyone is in our dance community. Until next semester!!

I was nervous to post this because this is the first piece I’ve ever choreographed and performed and the nerves were very clear in the performance but I’m proud of every accomplishment I’ve made this far in dance.

I’m so grateful to have such a big support system. Im very appreciative of the opportunity to be the president of the DA. I can’t wait to see my continuous growth as I make my way through the dance world. S/o to Jamiah for dealing with me, all my last minute changes, and performing with me. This was new for both of us and yet we still did our best!

But a big shout out goes to @justkiee.e for putting me onto this song over the summer. I knew immediately i wanted to make a dance to this song. I love It so much!

I have so many videos from dancing in the studio in my phone but enjoy this little snippet of some of the videos! Just a glance of what my semester is like as a dance major. I spend a good amount of time in the studio either for class or practice but i always walk out more confident then i walked in which is good by @simplyasiaaaa

That wraps up UDT Week! Big shoutout to everyone that came and supported me. Production week is so long and can be very tiring but it’s worth It every time. I enjoyed watching all the hard work pay off at the end of the semester. Plus being able to perform with some talented dancers is always an experience I enjoy. I can’t wait to see what next semester UDT has in store for me! Special shout-out to the graduating seniors I’m so glad I got to dance with y’all! taken in University Theatre ODU by @simplyasiaaaa
