My Sponsor A Prop page is live! 🎬✨

When I finally went up and brought home the Formica table my cousin Tracy had stored for me from my grandparents’ house for years, it all clicked: this is the exact table where Grandpa drops his lunchbox in One Last Time to Boston. 🥪🏠

That lightbulb moment sparked a bigger idea: since I need to source gear without hauling extra weight on the road, why not build this world together?

Every Wednesday, I’ll be spotlighting a key piece that I am searching for. This week? Grandpa’s lunchbox. 🔦

Come be part of the set design. You can get involved in two ways: raid your own attic or garage for a matching vintage treasure to contribute, or chip in a few bucks to help me source and rent it. 🛠️💵

Check out the page right here: https://meandthekiwi.com/stories-and-scripts/

Did you see Jaws on its premiere day? I was 9 going on 25 😆Which begs the question: could Jaws be the reason I never learned to swim? 🏊 Yet somehow, I spent two years sailing on a sailboat! ⛵️

Now I’m 60, writing and producing my first film, and The Jaws Log, caught my eye. I wanted to check out how a masterclass in tension gets built on the page—and reading the original log was such a wild, nostalgic ride.

77 days ago, I stopped drinking for vanity’s sake! (It didn’t work—thankfully!) 🍹🍸😆

Read the full story on my Substack—including my reset at 60 and the launch of a new Friday Mocktail Happy Hour!

(P.S. All Substack subscription proceeds go directly toward funding my short film: One Last Time to Boston!)🥂✨

Link is in bio and first comment.

I’ve hit the submit button on two grant applications for my upcoming short film. 🎥

Keeping all my fingers, toes, and lucky charms crossed for the green light. 🤞

I’ve also just launched a Founders Tier over on Substack for anyone who wants to jump in and support this filmmaking journey at a deeper level. 🚌💨

Building stories on the road takes a village, and your support means the world to me.

To celebrate this dual milestone, I’m popping a bottle of… non-alcoholic Josh Prosecco! Because the best kind of celebration is one where you can remember tomorrow morning.😉🥂

If you’d like to check out what the Founders Tier includes, the link is in my bio!
