Man, as we hit the last quarter in the game of life, what will it be? Are we going harder, or are we going to fold?

2026 has been full of teachable moments, and the statement “life be lifing” has been so damn true.

From losing loved ones, bad relationships, moving from one job to the next, relocating and trying to find your footing, to thinking this was finally going to be the year you hit that $500 million lottery 😂

Life has been LIFE-ING.

➡️ Some things worked out how we hoped
➡️ Some things fell completely apart
➡️ Some things taught us lessons we never asked for

But here we are.

And with one quarter left, I’m not spending it embarrassed about what didn’t work, ashamed of what I went through, or dwelling on what I thought 2026 was supposed to look like.

We still have time on the clock.

So…

➡️ Regroup
➡️ Make the adjustment
➡️ Run the next play
And…

Keep Going 😜 Because 💩 Happens‼️

Sometimes the dream starts long before you have the courage to call it a goal❤️📚

I stood in front of these Danielle Steel books and realized that the girl who spent years getting lost in other people’s stories was quietly preparing to tell stories of her own.

And that made me think about goals differently.

Life happens. Fear happens. Self-doubt definitely happens. Sometimes the thing you want scares the shit out of you because going after it means finding out what you’re actually capable of.

But being afraid doesn’t mean you’re not ready.

You can doubt yourself and still move.
You can be scared and still try.
You can have setbacks and still keep going.

The goal is not to become fearless.

The goal is to stop letting fear make your decisions for you.

Somewhere along the way, the reader became the writer.

And I’m still going❤️✍🏾📚

I was probably the most nervous person out there today 😂

There were horses everywhere, young riders coming in from Frederiksted, people moving in every direction, and I was scared as hell one of those horses was going to get spooked and kick me.

But instead, these young riders made sure I was safe. They pulled their horses in close so I could pass, and one young man actually walked me through because he could see how nervous I was.

That stayed with me.

Because these aren’t just kids riding horses for fun. These are their horses. They get up before school to care for them and come home and do it all over again.

We talk all the time about teaching our young people responsibility, discipline and how to care about something beyond themselves.

They’re already doing it.

And that’s why getting the racetrack back matters. It gives them somewhere to take that love, discipline and responsibility and build on it. A place to learn, compete, belong and keep this tradition alive.

Thank you Kevin Krigger, Manly Acoy, VIPD and everyone who made today possible.

When people talk about networking, they usually talk about business, opportunities and getting in the right rooms. But sometimes networking gives you something even better❤️

We all come from different backgrounds, different businesses and different walks of life. We met right here on Instagram, and somewhere along the way, networking turned into real friendship and friendship turned into family.

That’s why I’ll always believe in connecting with people genuinely. You never know what one follow, one conversation or one introduction can grow into.
