Stop confusing being busy with making progress.

You can spend an entire day answering messages, attending meetings and putting out fires and then realise you've barely touched the one thing that could actually move your life forward.

Try asking yourself every morning this new week: If I accomplish only one important thing today, what should it be? Then attack that very thing deligently and watch what happens.

Are you busy, productive, or somehow both and still behind?

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

Sometimes faith means taking the next step even when you cannot see the entire staircase. Pray, do your part, be patient, and trust God with what is beyond your control.

What Bible verse keeps you going when life feels uncertain?

The energy was off the hook at the Uganda AIDS Marathon activation in Soroti which partnered with the Teso run. Thank you so much @taso.1987 the team in Soroti is so amazing.

@ahfugandacares thanks loads for being amazing and @ministryofhealth_uganda thanks for the services. The community benefited from the provision of all the services delivered free of charge to them. Thank you.

@ugaidsmarathon @ugandaaidscommission @villagejourneysafrica @ahfugandacares @ministryofhealth_uganda no time to rest let us do this again next weekend in Lira. See you there.

Things I am learning in this season of life.

Rest is not a reward for exhaustion.
Not every setback needs to become a crisis.
Some opportunities are lessons, not destinations.
You can be grateful and still want more.
You can be strong and still need help.
And apparently, learning to slow down is a full-time job.

What is one lesson life is teaching you right now?

You can trust God without knowing the whole plan.

Sometimes faith means taking the next step even when you cannot see the entire staircase. This has been my mainstay verse for quite awhile now. So what do I do? I pray, I do my part, I try to be patient, I have learned to sit in silence(God knows my heart) and I trust God with what is beyond my control.

What Bible verse keeps you going when life feels uncertain?

Before I ask God for another thing…

Let me pause and say thank You.

For the doors that opened.
For the doors that closed.
For the things I understand.
For the things I don't.
For the prayers that were answered.
And even for the prayers I'm still waiting on.

Sometimes we get so focused on what we are asking God to do next that we forget to appreciate what He has already done.

Today, I'm choosing gratitude.

Thank You, Lord.
