You’re invited to Simply Socials next chapter💌 Nearly three years ago I began this journey. Since then, the growth has been more than I ever imagined. Not just in the business, but in my skills, my confidence and the way I see and tell each love story. As I’ve evolved, it felt only right that the brand evolved with me. My goal has always been to document wedding days in a way that feels authentic and elegant - storytelling for the modern couple, with intention and emotion at the heart of it all. This refined chapter of Simply Socials reflects that vision more clearly than ever. It’s more than just a new colour palette. It’s embracing the romantic essence of the wedding industry, evoking warmth, depth and quiet luxury. Designed to feel timeless, elevated and meaningful - reflecting the way I capture. Looking ahead, my vision remains the same: to shape content creation into something emotional and lasting, while always keeping my calm, personal and thoughtful approach, so every couple feels truly seen, and every memory feels authentic. This is Simply Socials, refined. Today was a pinch me moment, seeing my name featured in Vanity Fair!! Almost six years ago, when I first became self-employed, I was told I wouldn’t make it. That I should get a “real job”. At the time, those words felt heavy, and if I’m honest, they stayed with me for a long time especially as a young girl with a creative mind. So this is about so much more than seeing my work in a magazine. To me, it represents every sleepless night, every moment of self-doubt, every risk, every tear and every little milestone that has led me here. It’s a reminder that believing in yourself, even when others don’t, can take you further than you ever imagined. The July issue features the beautiful @jessica_x_yash at Soughton Hall, where the vision was soft romance, timeless elegance and understated luxury. It was such a joy to see this shoot come to life - organised by the amazing @sallyjoannephoto I don’t say it often, but I’m really proud of myself. Proud that I took the leap over three years ago to start Simply Socials, proud that I kept going when things felt difficult, and proud of the business I’ve built with so much heart. To every couple who has trusted me with your memories, thank you. And to my incredible support network who continue to encourage me and cheer me on - I’d be lost without you all. MEG & SCOTT 🖤| Castlefield Rooms A Manchester wedding, a surprise Biffa bin lorry and two people who were up for absolutely ANYTHING! Both Meg and Scott work for Biffa, so Meg’s mum arranged for Scott’s truck to make a surprise appearance, complete with a personalised wedding banner, so they could recreate a photograph from her own wedding day. How brilliant is that?! We then headed into Manchester city centre for some gorgeous portraits, where Scott spotted a few Biffa bins. Obviously, we weren’t walking past without getting a photo! From gorgeous editorial portraits around Manchester to hilarious lift photos, emotional speeches and a dance floor that certainly didn’t disappoint, we had the BEST day. These two didn’t take themselves too seriously, were up for a laugh from start to finish and absolutely knew how to throw a party! Such a brilliant day at The Castlefield Rooms in Manchester, and so good to be working alongside Kat from Simply Socials again! Weddings are full of firsts - this was Jess’s mum’s first time too🤍 The first time she would watch her daughter get ready to walk down the aisle. The first time seeing her become a wife to the person she loves. It’s so beautiful to pause and remember the people who have watched them grow up.
