One to keep on your radar. 👀

The Simplystics with an acoustic performance of “Moonlady” a stripped-back look at an emerging indie rock band with a sound that sits somewhere between alternative, indie pop and singer-songwriter music.

Guitar, vocals and a great song doing the heavy lifting. There’s something about hearing a band stripped down like this that lets the songwriting speak for itself.

If you’re into discovering new music, indie bands, acoustic sessions and artists before everybody else catches on, The Simplystics are worth a listen.

I could hardly hit this verse in this key when we first started rehearsing so im hyped on this clip, truthfully this is only my second time ever performing with a full band (been mainly a studio musician for most of my life) so this is all new to your boy. Luckily I had the legends @drewdvorsky @jackgavigan @sadboysbookclub by my side! Doing it live is so different but playing these songs for homies and chill strangers is so sick. Can’t wait to run it back witchall
