I setup a few @ubiquiti UniFi G5 Pros on my roof to watch over the forest fires this past summer. The timelapse feature is pretty cool. #cctv #lowvoltage #wifi #ubiquiti taken in Peachland, British Columbia by @simplytelecommunicationsltd

I’ve heard some people mention they don’t like using the metal caddy rings because the faceplates won’t sit flush against the wall. Here’s how I deal with it when it’s all I have to work with 🤷‍♂️. #lowvoltage #lowvoltagetechnician #kelowna #cctv #wifi taken in Kelowna, British Columbia by @simplytelecommunicationsltd

This customer had a water pipe burst above their network rack. When we arrived, the plywood backer had fallen away from the cinder block wall and the CAT6 cables were the only thing supporting the weight of the rack. The Meraki network gear was owned and installed by the customers Internet Service Provider and they had recently informed the customer that they will not be renewing the licensing on their devices. The BC Lions are coming to Kelowna and we were asked to run some temporary network cabling so that they can get Wi-Fi and network connectivity across the entire stadium. Some of the distances are too far for CAT6. Here we are pulling in 500 feet of singlemode fiber across the field. #fiberoptic #lowvoltagetechnician #kelowna #wifi taken in Kelowna, British Columbia by @simplytelecommunicationsltd

Tight squeeze for these @ubiquiti Doorbell Lites. The building owners were concerned that the raised flutes in the concrete would break if we tried to drill into them. #cctv #lowvoltage #lowvoltagetechnician #ubiquiti taken in Kelowna, British Columbia by @simplytelecommunicationsltd
