Another day of our little mother-daughter fall getaway, filled with all the cozy autumn vibes, a little shopping, good food, beautiful scenery, and, of course, a few adventures along the way! 🍂🤎

A little retail therapy for Mya’s fall bedroom makeover! 🧡 On a mission to bring her Pinterest-inspired fall mood board to life with all those cozy autumn colors, textures, and little touches to give her room the FULL FALL EFFECT! 🍂🕯️🤎

Because somewhere between the shopping, sightseeing, and keeping up with a teenager, Mama needed her espresso fix! 🤣☕🤎

And for our evening adventures… a little dressing up and dinner somewhere extra special! 🤎✨

Riverdance was absolutely gorgeous! From the rustic stone architecture and beautiful timber-beamed ceilings to the colorful lights illuminating the entrance, every little detail made this place feel special! 💗💜

But y’all… THAT VIEW! 🌅😍

Watching the sun set over the Tennessee River Gorge, painting the sky the prettiest shades of pink, orange, and purple, was absolutely breathtaking! ✨ Fresh starts, fall adventures & making memories with my girl! ✨

A little mother-daughter getaway, some much-needed relaxation, sweet treats, shopping, and a cozy little treehouse tucked away in the Tennessee woods. 🥹🤎

💆🏽‍♀️ FIRST STOP | A LITTLE PAMPERING
We kicked off our fall break with some relaxation and a little self-care at Bliss & Bloom at Beauty Mark Hair Spa in Oneida. The perfect way to start our girls’ getaway! 🧖‍♀️🫧

🍓🍫 SOMETHING SWEET
Of course, a girls’ trip wouldn’t be complete without a sweet treat! We stopped by Schakolad Chocolate Factory in Turkey Creek and picked out some delicious Dubai chocolate — strawberry 🍓 and blueberry 🫐 flavors!

🛍️🍁 SHOPPING, SNACKS & GIRL TIME
A little shopping, something yummy to eat, lots of laughs, and just enjoying the day together. No rushing, no big agenda — just making memories along the way. 🤎

🌳🌙 OUR LITTLE TREEHOUSE GETAWAY
And for the sweetest ending to our first day, we found the cutest little hidden gem, not too far from home!

📍 Little Closer to Heaven Primitive Treehouse | Rugby, Tennessee

Nestled among the branches of a nearly 100-year-old oak tree, surrounded by the beauty of Tennessee in the fall. 🍂🪵

Cooler nights, changing leaves, cozy little spaces, and a peaceful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. It was rustic, charming, and just the sweetest little spot for an overnight adventure with my girl. 🕯️🦉🌙

Sometimes it’s the simplest little getaways that turn into the sweetest memories. And getting to slow down, explore new places, and spend this time with Mya is something I’ll always treasure.

Day 1 of our fall break adventures is in the books! 🍁🤎

Here’s to fresh starts, new adventures, and making the most of these precious mother-daughter moments. 🫶🏼

A new chapter is unfolding for Mya B as she’s starting her freshman year of high school at YAI in just two days, for the 2025-2026 school year. Yesterday evening, July 28, 2025, at 5:45 PM, we attended the YAI Back to School Open House. As excited as she’s been about this upcoming school year, frequently saying, ‘Mama, can you believe I start high school next week!’ - tonight quickly became a profound moment of realization for her and me. All I could think about was how unready my heart and mind were as we walked in and went through the process of registering and receiving her schedule for her first year in high school. Here I am with my 14-year-old teenage daughter who’s a freshman in high school, and all I could see was my little 18 month old starting preschool, my little 4-year-old that I took to her very first day of school in PreK. I’m beaming with pride for her, but this is definitely a bittersweet and heart-tugging moment for her Mama! We both cried in the car, then decided we had to pull ourselves together, celebrate this milestone, and look forward to all the adventures and memorable, exciting times ahead…. 💜💛

And that’s a wrap on The ONE: Cheer & Dance Finals in Virginia Beach! 🌊☀️🌐
💜Empire Elite Athletics’ LEGACY SENIOR LEVEL 3 came out with a third-place win in their division. They worked hard - blood, sweat, tears, and perseverance. They competed Saturday and Sunday, hit zero, and finished third place overall; it was an impressive, strong finish! 💎Congratulations, ladies and gentlemen! I’m so proud of you all! Mya B, I am always proud of you! We had an amazing season and were blessed with the best coaches!
