We did it again 💃🏽… does this make us artists now? 😄

Maybe not… at least not yet 😉
For now, we’re just sisters who love Jesus and will always show up when it’s time to worship.

From the melodies of @phillipscraiganddean to the beautiful collaboration by @mosesbliss and @chandlerdmoore, this mashup gave us one simple opportunity to say, “Daddy, we love You plenty 🤍”

There were laughs, missed notes and plenty of “wait… let’s take it again” moments 😄
But in the middle of it all, God showed up… and that’s what matters most.

I love Christmas. 🤍
Not just the day, but the feeling that hangs in the air. The lightness. The way people seem a little kinder, a little more hopeful, just because it’s that time of the year. ✨

When we were younger, we spent Christmas in Sapele, a small town in Delta State. One of my clearest memories is of children, hair freshly cut, outfits carefully chosen, the most outrageous sunglasses 😎, going from house to house. Not quite trick-or-treating, but something close. They’d come in, be served food, say their greetings, and leave with a little money in hand.

I grew up in Lagos, so it all felt strange to me. We were never allowed to do anything like that. But looking back, it was precious. A picture of a time when things felt simpler. When children were safer. When community felt like a shared responsibility and not just a word. 🤍

We stopped going “home” after my grandmother passed, and I honestly don’t know if that still happens in Sapele. I know you won’t find it where we lived in Lagos. But whenever I think of the warmth of Christmas, my mind goes there, to the smell of roasted goat meat 🍖, the mix of spices in the air, and that inexplicable cheer that only small communities seem to carry so naturally. Oh! Let’s not forgot the shots of Bacchus tonic wine that Grandma gave us as a right of passage into the New Year, made extra special cause I wasn’t even 10 yet😁😁😁😁.

Today, like always, I’m spending Christmas with my loved ones but right here in Lagos. Not in the small town that holds so many memories. Frankly, I am surprised this is the memory that’s strongest today, but then it could have been engineered by the familiar aroma of roasted goat meat wafting through my tightly shut windows, serving as an unwitting bridge back in time. Still, I’m deeply grateful for the grace to be here, for family, for friends, for laughter, food, and the simple joy of being together. I am grateful for Christmas. It just hits different, in Lagos, Egypt (the only other place I have spent Christmas) or in Sapele 🙏🏽

Here’s to the memories we carry, the realities we live in now, and the quiet beauty of the season. ✨

My sisters and I did a thing!!! We produced a Christmas medley of two songs we truly love. Hope Awakes by @steffanydawn and Now Behold the Lamb by @kirkfranklin.

It is more than just music to us; It’s sisters in love🥰 coming together to tell a timeless story that reflects the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus, the Lamb of God.

Another reason this is special to me is that we have longed to do this together for a very long time and finally got round to it. Truly priceless. There were lots of laughs and a few tears, but we persevered and here is the result. It’s our first together and we are truly proud of it.

Now are we launching a group? Hahahaha! We are all very busy career women, but with a heart for Jesus and sounds that give Him praise, so let’s see what 2026 will bring. Or ladies, @peacettah @omoge78 @callroro @adeyiomosalewa what do you think?

Throwing it back to February when I met most of my amazing teammates from across the region for the first time. We mixed adventure with strategy, laughter with planning, and left with more than just memories. We left as a stronger unit.
