I traveled to Bloomfield for this session with Tessa and her family. First of all, what a gorgeous property! Secondly, I love love love doing sessions at a family property. This session was held at Tessa’s childhood home, her parent’s place. She pointed out fully grown trees that were planted for each of her and her siblings when they were children and told me about how her wedding was held on the property. The newly added green house was a perfect backdrop for photos!

In the moment we were fighting for attention for the girls and sniffling as the temps had dropped and the sky was overcast but these sessions are my favorite because yet another memory added to the years of living, learning and growing.

Please, invite me to your families property for a session! They’re my favorite.

My brother’s getting married! What an honor it was to have my brother text me randomly on a Friday morning letting me know he was gonna propose to Emily soon and wanted to surprise her during a session.

When I tell y’all this man moves in silence…. I had no idea he was even considering it!! Every milestone he’s made has been a secret to me (and most everyone) until it’s happened or about to happen. I, on the other hand, announce a plan before the plan has even been fully considered.

I probably should take a note out of his play book.

Congrats Emily & Naven!! So excited to witness this new chapter!!

Capricorn season is upon us!!

Capricorn to me is rock music, heavy metal to be specific. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, father of time and discipline. Also, mythology tells tales of Saturn eating the heads of his children and that feels pretty hardcore to me. The tarot card associated with Capricorn is the devil card. I don’t know, it just makes sense!

Shoutout to all my Capricorn babies! Thanks for holding the fort down, your determination and dedication are testaments to your character. And just know, every once in a while we do see through your tough exterior!

Scorpioooooo! I won’t ask you to forgive me for my lack of timeliness, my apologies.

This one’s for the ones who bring the intensity, the ones who know where their loyalties lie and the ones who are willing to go deeper than any others. I hope this session encapsulates all that you are!

Libra season is here!

Shoutout to all the romancers, peace keepers, and charismatic social butterfly’s. The world would be lost without your elegance and sense of beauty. (But as an Aries I am begging you to make a decision and quit sitting on that fence!!)
