Lugano by night. 🖤

Where light becomes architecture
and the city shows another face.

Geometry. Shadows. Silence.
Just a little midnight magic. ✨

📍 Lugano, Switzerland 🇨🇭

the man behind the pixels 🖤📸 // hey, i’m stefan! 👋 the guy behind simsalapixel, usually much happier hiding behind a camera than standing in front of one. 😂

i love capturing the little things that make life interesting… dramatic skies, beautiful landscapes, fascinating details, architecture, animals and everything in between. 🌄📸✨

and of course, there’s my furry support team! 🐾❤️ my dogs are my loyal companions, biggest supporters and occasional photography assistants… although their main responsibilities seem to involve supervising me, demanding attention and making sure i never get bored! 😂🐶

and this portrait? one orange light, a tripod, my phone as a remote shutter… and BÄÄÄM! 💥 apparently, even i can survive being in front of the camera occasionally! 😎😂

thanks for being here, following my little photographic adventures and making this community such a wonderful place! 🥰🫶🏼

welcome to my world of pixels, paws and stories! ❤️📸🐾

a little visitor 🐝🌸 // while i was admiring this beautiful flower, someone else was already enjoying breakfast 😂📸 sometimes nature gives you the perfect little moment… all you have to do is notice it 🤩🫶🏼

a splash of colour on a grey autumn day 🍂💙 // when autumn seems to be all about grey skies, clouds and gloomy weather, nature suddenly decides to open a little window to the blue. ☁️🤩

a few rays of sunshine, some colourful autumn trees and even a tiny paraglider enjoying the view from above. 🪂🍁

sometimes all it takes is a little splash of colour to brighten up an otherwise grey day! 🥰📸

a little piece of yesterday 🖤🏡 // somewhere in the swiss countryside, two old wooden barns sit quietly among rolling hills and scattered apple trees. 🌳

no busy streets, no modern skyline, just a little corner of the world where time seems to have slowed down.

i love how black and white can turn an ordinary landscape into something that feels like a memory from another lifetime. 📸🥰

colorful monday – framed by nature 🍁📡 // who says technology and nature can’t make a beautiful picture together? 🤩

high above the zurich oberland, the transmission tower on the hörnli rises between trees dressed in their most spectacular autumn colours. 🍂🧡❤️

a little piece of human engineering, perfectly framed by mother nature herself. and honestly, i think she did a pretty amazing job! 😂📸✨

autumn, seen from above 🍂🚁 // sometimes you have to change your perspective to see just how beautiful nature really is. 🤩

flying above this colourful forest felt like looking down at a giant painting, with thousands of trees showing off their very own shades of autumn. 🍁🧡💛

if autumn had a colour palette, i’m pretty sure this would be it! 🎨😍

when the sky catches fire… 🔥🌅 // just when you think the day has nothing more to offer, nature decides to paint the horizon in the most incredible shades of red, orange and deep blue. ❤️💙

a few clouds, the silhouettes of the hills and those last fiery moments before darkness takes over.

sometimes the most beautiful endings are the ones you never saw coming. 🥰✨

the door that will never open the same way again… 🖤 // the man next door has passed away.

for years, there was someone behind this door. a familiar face, a familiar voice, a little piece of everyday life.

now there’s only silence.

the door may open again someday, but never again with him behind it.

and somehow, that changes everything. 🕯️

in loving memory of all those who will never open their doors to us again, but whose memories will forever remain in our hearts. 🖤

wings of autumn fire 🔥🦅 // sometimes nature puts on a show that leaves you speechless. watching this magnificent red kite glide effortlessly through a sea of golden autumn colours was one of those moments. 🍂✨

no rush, no noise, just the wind beneath his wings and a little bit of magic through my lens. 📸🧡

excuse moo?! 🐮🖤 // i was just enjoying my lunch when suddenly this strange human showed up with a camera! 📸😂

seriously, can’t a lady enjoy some fresh swiss grass without being photographed?! 🌱🤨

well, at least he caught my good side… or should i say, my best moo-d! 🤩🐄

something wicked is hiding in the bushes… 🎃👀 // deep in the jungle, i stumbled upon this little fellow who clearly wasn’t expecting visitors! 😂🍂 not sure if he’s casting a spooky spell, guarding a secret treasure or just waiting for someone to bring him a pumpkin spice latte. ☕🧙‍♂️

whatever he’s up to… happy halloween, everyone! 👻🧡
