The establishing shot. The beginning of the journey into the inner self and the dive below the surface to where all the emotions, memories and parts of the personality that have been locked away reside.
The lyrics were taken from one of our oldest demos, and became the foundation for the story and themes of [CHAPTER II]

A song about guilt, avoidance and paranoia. Struggling to contend with past mistakes and looking for a way out.
We wanted this song to capture the essence of a high budget crime thriller in the style of Collateral, Heat and The Dark Knight, an influence which bled into the music video as well

The lyrics read like a generic break up song, but the split is with a past version of yourself that youโve outgrown. The realisation youโre holding onto something you must destroy and leave behind, and that sometimes you need to break a bone to grow.
We pulled from a wide range of musical influences with this song and coupled with the music video itโs one of our proudest technical achievements as a band so far.

This is about the everyday battle of learning to sit with your internal discomfort instead of resorting to external remedies.

We wrote this as a cry for empathy to anyone who feels invisible and directionless in our under-connected world. And a reminder that the further we push people away, the more likely they are to find refuge in the false promises of prophets and gurus who seek to create more division and hatred.

This song depicts the natural conclusion of a society that functions on polarisation, self-interest and repressed rage: total mob rule that crushes any dissenters or non-faithfuls.
But have you ever wondered if being constantly at each otherโs throats is h by @since2000uk](https://s6.imginn.com/758518289_18599692714011622_2330641669718579017_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/758518289_18599692714011622_2330641669718579017_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p1290x1290_tt6&_nc_cat=106&ig_cache_key=Mzk1MTk3NjcwMDEwOTM2NTk1Ng%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMzA3Mi5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=xECO_BwLKH4Q7kNvwEwpQvk&_nc_oc=AdpoeceuHLpdgySdz7BHongXNU5e0HY7JGJNEX3xdtiEOIsY3GVIj4USi03618d594xWtnLkF66XvEG9Z3hfrsNh&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-iad6-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=JiIeE49p1tDfAY07ReVnVg&_nc_ss=7a22e&oh=00_AQM5JOKre8XESFFgw01lLjQ1u9zj4lbnXfJ07Y2AzRbtxA&oe=6AD96A48)
