There’s such a huge demographical difference between my TikTok audience (young strangers there for my rants and comedy) and my IG audience (millennial friends and family) so knowing that will help you understand why you should never take the content I’ve crossbred through here seriously 😅 in case you were lost and wondering what on earth is going on in my life 💀 it is absolutely not my TikTok content, I’ll tell you that. When your favorite fellow Cali kid creative (@sebby1337) tells you two days prior he's coming to NYC from Philly, and to model on the ledge of the Brooklyn Bridge for him, you don't hesitate.

Nevermind the 20mph winds & below 20° weather. We do it for the art. & if you knew how toxic & hypoxic & creatively enabling our FaceTime calls got leading up to seeing each other, you'd know it's light work.

It's been a while since I've modeled & at that it was import modeling - something celebratory of female objectification. So to climb off that freezing, windy ledge & be met with celebration over art, bravery, & badassery rather than sex appeal - HEALED SOMETHING IN ME. I cannot thank you guys enough @sebby1337 @graphicole @kylebrashers @dgafmentality. #storytime: For this shoot, I had brought 4 outfit changes. And as the New York minute serves right, we only got to shoot 2.

For one of the outfits I didn't get to use, I brought a wide-brimmed felt hat. Unbeknownst to me, @graphicole (photographer of these shots) had planned to vintage thrift while she was in town for a staple piece to up her wardrobe. A staple piece like a wide-brimmed felt hat.

Before I left, I told her to put the hat on her head (which seems a crime seeing as her hair is impossibly red orange and too gorgeous to cover) and my goodness, I would never be able to pull it off like that. "Keep it. That hat BELONGS to you."

And that was my meet-cute with this talented photographer. It's sentiment like that that makes the creative process all the more worthwhile. Thank you for these shots, Cole. It was a dream to work with you. taken in New York City, N.Y. by @sincerelyharmony
