I have felt so refreshed and productive this trip! I’ve been able to get some editing done, write through scene blocks and enjoy much needed time off. It sometimes really is that simple, go to the woods and be.

This next week I’m on the go and taking my editing, writing, and you all with me. I honestly love reading and writing on a plane. There is something just magical about the infinite possibilities of places you can go and all the stories of the people traveling along side you.

I was lucky enough to get my book mail the same day as the release a few days ago and I’m loving my spread! So excited for this to be in the world and thank you Alyssa for letting me be apart of it 💜

✨Let’s just be honest, let’s just be real.✨

Last week was a super busy week with homecoming, AC’s breaking, vet appointments, getting my paws on my next editing manuscript, and just regular life scheduling. My writing momentum unfortunately hit a giant brick wall called: time. Was I bummed I didn’t write last week? yes. However, these things happen and it’s actually a great opportunity to breathe and come back to the story with a refreshed writing brain. The words will find the page again this week! Whether it’s just a few, or many, is yet to be seen; but what really matters, is to just keep writing!

It can be intimidating to start an editing project with a new client, but I know in the end something beautiful will be created with the help of my honest and loving feedback. I’m grateful to all the authors who have trusted me with their work. I promise it’s okay to hangout in the doc with me 🫶🏼

As writers and people we all go through the messy middle. My baking this week reminded me that even when the middle is messy, and we don’t think it’ll turn out well, we still need to push through! The end result is more likely to be delicious then having nothing at all.
