5 years on and we must never forget.

Witnessing the massacre unfold on my phone changed me forever. The horror that unfolded that night will always stay with me, nothing was ever the same.

Looking back, I am immensely proud of the bravery of Nigerians but disgusted and ashamed of how their fight for justice was ruthlessly stopped by the Nigerian government. Nigerians were killed for simply wanting better, for wanting a real future in a Nigeria that works and for the justice that has been denied for far too long.

I pray we see justice in my lifetime because they did not succeed. Their memory will live on and the fight for justice and freeeom continues.

May their souls continue to rest in peace 🤍🕊️

A few weeks ago, I responded to a tweet that went viral. I had many sincere conversations with people who felt the same. Now, in light of recent events, I wanted to share here because I’m sure these feelings will be even stronger for those who have struggled with their faith. I wanted to share this in case it resonates with anyone. I want a meaningful relationship with Christ, I’m just not sure what that looks like yet.

I don’t have the answers, but I know it helps to have a space to explore your feelings with love and no judgment ❤️
