From the summer. And from the pines. I made this watercolor in a canoe. We call that Lart Barn.

Some images from my time at the Bodhi. These collages have helped me get here.

Instructions, and something like a pocket prayer.

Much love for my friends who took these photos, Natalie, Arielle, and Tami <3 And for New Mexico and the people I met there.

Here are some fraternal collage twins.
Taking the horse out and bringing it in.
Hello and goodbye. Again and again and again.

I forget to see without the leaving.

Two stones. Pinched between pointer and thumb. The larger granite stone for earth, the smaller piece of quartz for the moon, and a giant column of a candle for the sun.
I can't say my dinner table demonstration of the lunar cycle was convincing.

So in the meantime,
we’ll keep looking at the moon and speaking of its magic.
I’ll keep trying to hold the moon between my fingers.
And maybe,
you’ll catch me pants down and I’ll really know what it’s like to be the full moon for once.

Anyway, I missed the flower moon.

I recently found out that I am in a special dark spot on the east coast. The night skies are apparently truly dark here.
So, I'm looking at the stars lots and trying to learn their names. A fourth grader said that they used to know the names of all the stars before they were born.

I believe them and I think I did too. I guess I've really been relearning their names.

Feeling the weight of the world in just one fish.
It's all in there.
