“I see myself in Das”
Das’s hope, anger, pain, and grief—the idea of saving himself by saving others. His bitter past shaped him into someone who continues to help others, even when he’s at his lowest. He keeps moving forward, even when he’s standing at the edge, completely lost.

He’s constantly trying to find his path, holding on to the last bit of hope he has left. He’s searching for his place in someone, somewhere—a place where he can finally rest, somewhere he can find the love he lost, the love that was once taken away from him.

Until then, he’ll carry those memories with him and keep moving forward.

That’s who Devdas is to me.
