We're delighted to welcome @thomasridley__ to the Sine Language Records crew. Thomas makes intricately sculpted, leftfield techno, and we love it. His tracks are propulsive, and full of atmosphere and expression, his gestural sound design talents evoking something akin to the broad confident brushstrokes of an abstract painter. Super satisfying club and headphone music.

We loved his 2022 debut which came out on @gotorecords , so we can't wait to share his new release with you. Music out next week so stay tuned!

"Immersions: The Sonic Legacy of Room Temperature, vol 1" is out today!

This is a uniquely fascinating and atmospheric album of immersive soundscapes, crafted for the now defunct experimental spa retreat, 'Room Temperature'. The spa's practices were designed to test the limits of human endurance and break down participants mental defenses to reveal the emptiness of their somatic cravings and induce cathartic surrender to the universe at large.

We're super happy we get to share this one with you. Couple of audio clips here, have a listen and pop over to bandcamp to cop a limited edition cassette. Full album on Spotify and BC for downloads.

New music incoming. We're delighted to share a new album with you today.

Room Temperature - "Immersions..."

The album is a captivating collection of immersive soundscapes crafted for a now-defunct experimental spa retreat which dared to explore the extremes of human endurance and perception via a series of innovative environments.

A key aspect of the Room Temperature experience were the interactive and immersive sound installations within the rooms. These ranged from endless, generative percussion pieces, euphoria-inducing spacious drones, womb-like infrasound baths, and ASMR microsound. As participants voyaged through the chambers it would become less and less clear if the fantastic environments were real, or the mind’s response to the extreme sonic overload, sleep deprivation and psychoactive infusions.

Whilst the retreat was short-lived, it's legacy lives on through this sound art.
