The mountains don't care how cold you are.
They just keep burning.

15,100 ft. −10°C. 5:37 AM.
Viewpoint 1, Goechala Trek, Sikkim

Watching Kanchendzonga, the world's third highest peak, catch its first light of the day.

Is this on your list? 🏔️

Golden hour hits different when nature's already showing off. 🌅🏔️

The magic unfolds over our heads in campsites at night and it is utterly spectacular, almost otherworldly. 🪄

Kuari Pass, 12,516 ft — where the famed Lord Curzon trail leads you and where the Himalayas put on their finest show. With Nanda Devi watching over me like she always has.

This is why we lace up our boots and keep climbing. ⛰️✨

🌌 13,000 ft. 2:30 AM.
The whole camp asleep.
Some call it madness.
I call it the deal I made with the mountains.
Swipe to find out what I'm hiding.

The Milky Way takes over the night sky. And you just can't have enough of it.

The mountain gives you two feet of trail and a mile of sky.

Pangarchulla trek, Uttarakhand. One ledge, one long breath, and a valley that made me forget my legs.

A mountain doesn't need to hide to disappear.

Seven seconds. That's how long it took Mt. Pandim to vanish, swallowed whole by clouds rolling up the Prek Chu valley, one lone tent standing witness at 12,900 ft.

This is Thansing, the campsite where you sleep in the shadow of a 6,691m giant, and wake up not knowing if it'll show itself again.

Some views you chase. This one chased us back.

Mt. Dronagiri
As above, as below.
Somewhere between the valley and the sky, there's a line where the clouds forget which world they belong to. ☁️

Shot on the Pangarchulla trail, before the real climb even began.

Sunset on the peaks. Moonrise above them. Home for the night, a tent at Nayata. 🌕🏔️

Lucky are those who get to sip warm black mountain tea in a setting this picturesque — watching the sun and clouds play their magical game of hide and seek, with a yellow mustard field stretched out below.
This is what peace looks like.

And lucky I was to witness it firsthand, on the Ali Bedni Bugyal trek, at the Didna campsite.

Some moments are etched in our minds forever... The taste of this magical evening black tea is one of them. ☕️

Somewhere on the climb to Pangarchulla, the forest opens up — just for a second. This is the view that keeps you going when your legs don't want to.

Location📍: Pangarchulla-bound trail, Uttarakhand, Day 3
