I had already done nearly six hours on the bike, crossed Khardung La, and reached that stage where even taking off my helmet felt like a task.
Any sensible rider would’ve gone back and slept.

Unfortunately, I’ve spent years making poor decisions 😅
On the way back, I spotted an enduro park right next to #shantistupa .
I told myself, “Just go look.”

That’s the biggest lie riders tell themselves.

Five minutes later, I was inside, trying to breathe, trying not to stall, and wondering why Leh had suddenly decided to test my lungs, my balance, and my ego all at the same time.
The altitude doesn’t politely introduce itself. It just grabs your chest and says, “Let’s see how good you really are.”
And strangely… I loved every second of it.

And the people behind this place? Pure riders. No pretence. No gimmicks. Just a group of passionate humans building a playground because they genuinely live and breathe this sport. That’s the kind of energy you never forget.

If you’re a rider passing through Leh, don’t just chase the passes. Chase experiences like this.

Next time, this won’t just be a pit stop.
This will be my base camp..

Some places give you memories.
Some places make you want to become a better rider.
This one did both. 🏍️⛰️
