5 years sober. 🤍

Five years ago, I couldn’t see this version of my life. Honestly, I couldn’t see much of a future at all. I never saw my future in my addiction.
Now, I look around and realize I’m not just surviving — I’m thriving.
I’ve found my place in a male-dominated industry. I’ve built a career I’m proud of. I’ve traveled, grown, fallen apart, put myself back together, and most importantly, I’ve found pieces of myself I didn’t even know were missing.
Sobriety gave me the chance to become the woman I was always supposed to be — not perfect, not finished, but completely mine.
And now, the future isn’t something I’m afraid of.
It’s something I want to shine a light on. ✨
Five years of choosing myself. Five years of showing up. Five years of becoming.
And damn, I’m proud of me!

A new chapter. A fucking big one. 🖤

I’m officially starting my dream job @barcelonawinebar and honestly, I’m still letting that sink in.
The interviews. The hard work. The risk. The growth. The decision to bet on myself and go after the career I’ve been craving. It all led me here.
I didn’t just want a job — I wanted a place where I could keep learning, be challenged, grow as a chef, and become the kind of leader I know I’m capable of being.
So here’s to new kitchens, new people, new experiences, and chasing the hell out of the life I want.

Grateful

Today is my last day @briarpatchdenver . ❤️

I’m leaving with a full heart and so much gratitude for the people, the lessons, the hard days, the good days, the laughs, the chaos, and everything in between.

This place has been a chapter that taught me a lot—not just about food and kitchens, but about myself, my strength, my leadership, and the kind of chef I want to become.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who crossed paths with me here and for every experience that helped shape what comes next.

Closing one chapter is bittersweet, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited as hell for where I’m going.

If you’re looking for quite possibly the best brunch in Denver, then look no further.👁️

Chef Amanda aka the Brunch Queen aka @singham1201 hath put her foot down and all up in it! 👸🏻

The food here is SOOOOO good! Every bite was delectable, the drinks were exquisite, and the flavor combos were deliciously unique. 🍗

This spot is pretty unassuming, but do not be deceived! If you’re feeling a bit peckish she’ll fix you right up. And as you can see here, we had an amazing time! 😋
