Mr. B insisted I have a birthday party today so he invited his friends over, helped make two cakes, and decorated our apartment all to celebrate mama. It was a pretty special day.

Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes.

Now back to eating cake!

It’s been one week since we closed Come From Away.

This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career: the work, the story, and most of all, this incredible company of actors. I’m so grateful to the entire team who made it possible.

And getting to have my son see me perform on stage for the first time made it even more special.

It took a village to make this happen, and I’ll be endlessly grateful to The Professor and @jzbelle171 for stepping up in such a big way.

“You are here.”

Each show or performance I do is special, but this one was especially meaningful because my boys got to share it with me. I am always the one leaving and thanks to @brett.smock and the incredible staff, cast, and crew of A Bronx Tale I was able to have them with me the entire time.

Thank you to Brett for thinking of me and believing that I could create a loving, strong, nuanced and grounded version of Rosina. Thank you for creating a safe space to explore, create, and laugh.

Thank you to this incredible company of actors who brought so much joy and life to the stage every night. Thank you for embracing my family as if they were your own, and for making it possible for me to be a mom and an actor.

Thank you to the entire crew who made it look easy from the very first day and helped to show my kid the magic of theatre.

Thank you to the incredible staff who made us feel at home, helped with endless Amazon boxes - Mr. B birthday prep, and made a special baking pan delivery to my apartment. I will be forever grateful.

@therevtheatreco is a special place, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been a small part of its storied history. “Thank you” will never be enough to express my gratitude to everyone involved in this production.

“The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.”

Had to do a self tape today. Looks like I have a tough audience.

A few weeks ago I had the honor of making the wedding cake for my dear friend @realdanschwait

He and his wife Bess had true vision for the cake:

Each layer a different citrus flavor

It was a fun and wild ride making enough cake, and then some, for 130 guests, but boy do I love how the main cake came out. Plus he got a rare and fab photo of me and The Professor.

Congratulations and best wishes
