Panjeri Artists' Union is glad to host ‘Unpoor’ Images of A Revolution', a lecture performance developed by Anurag Singraur and Rahul Juneja, with Hekh.
~ Here, Faint growls of gorillas whisper around a now caged space in College of Art, New Delhi- used for recreation, gatherings, playing, in/de(toxicating) and sleeping. Tracing the legacy of the multiple protests in College of Art New Delhi, its implications, and its (fading) memory- it unravels different orders of time, rest, and gestures of space-making in response to legacy and institutionalisation. This (now) caged space emerges as a glitch one with no author, no legacy, where architectures of memory, vulnerability, solidarity can be reformed. ~
The performance is based on the essay “ Faint Growls of Guerriling Gorrilas”, co-authored by the performers in Call #2, a multiform journal run by Hekh. Hekh is cultural interface based in Karnal, Haryana bringing together young artists, researchers, and thinkers in India. Finding its origins in a punjabi folk singing technique with a constant, vibrato like modulation, it translates to an undying call. It thinks of technics of amplification, resonating, echoing, transmuting as social and cultural technologies- informing and interfering in frequencies past, present and future. by @singrour005

A moment of immense pride for Delhi Collage of Art as two of our distinguished alumni, Ashish Chauhan (BFA, Program, 2015 -19 batch, Rajouri Garden Campus) and Anurag Singrour (Super Professional Diploma Program, 2015–2017 batch) presented their powerful installation and video works at the Students’ Biennale segment of the sixth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, at Arthshila, Fort Kochi.

It was a deeply affirming moment for the current Diploma and BFA students who travelled to witness the Biennale, to see their own alumni exhibiting at such a prestigious international platform was both inspiring and transformative.

Both Ashish and Anurag pursued further studies in their respective institutions for their Master’s degrees, strengthening their research, expanding their conceptual frameworks, and refining their contemporary practices.

At DCA, alumni are not distant names, they remain an integral part of our academic ecosystem.

Living Herbarium: Collective Reflections
Workshop with Anurag Singraur (@singrour005)

This workshop begins with walking and looking. Plants gathered over time, along with fragments collected during a short walk through Lodhi, become the basis for a shared exercise in making and reflection.

Led by Anurag Singraur, Living Herbarium moves away from scientific classification and toward personal response. Participants create herbarium sheets using text, drawing, and found material, replacing labels with memory, speculation, and association.

As sheets are exchanged and displayed together, the work becomes a living archive of plant and human movement, care, and coexistence. The session closes with a conversation on art, ecology, and how these questions circulate through research, media, and activism.
