When I was 10, I decided to have a singing competition at my birthday (foreshadowing @americanidol ?!) I sang “New York New York” Frank Sinatra (another premonition of where I would end up meeting the love of my life/music partner @ernielakemusic 💓?!) When I hit the big note everybody stopped and stared and paid attention. It was an aha moment that made me realize that I was different that I was given this gift. Since then I have been singing anywhere and everywhere on so many different platforms. From choir to battle of the bands in high school, from touring with my college band, cover bands, wedding bands, and of course, American Idol. From taking a huge leap of Faith, moving to Nashville as a mama with two young kids and being a part of this incredible community. I’m so proud today-my first album is out!! I cannot express my gratitude for everyone who has cheered me on along the way and supported this gift, this dream. Thank you @jnitewriter for your friendship- for writing on this album with me- for taking a chance on an Indie artist like me. Thank you @ernielakemusic for always staying by my side and encouraging me when things are not so easy- for your brilliant music mind, production and collaboration. I feel like the luckiest girl in the whole world 🫶🏼10 years in and 10-year-old me are all smiles 🥹🤍 shoutout to the amazing musicians that played on this album @cassandrasotos @daviddornmusic @zonana_music @joeysykes903 @smith_curry_rocks Whats your favorite song?! tag me- ILY!

There’s just something special about a hometown
show🤍 Playing my songs in a cozy little locally owned spot, surrounded by familiar faces, new friends, and people who truly love and support live music—it doesn’t get much better than that.
So grateful for nights like this and for the local places that give artists a space to share their music. This one felt like home. 🎶✨
