At the end of January, we took part in @singstrongacappella , an international a cappella festival, where we led performances, coaching sessions, and workshops. As artists exploring the full potential of the human voice beyond beatbox, it was a truly joyful experience🥰 Special thanks to @jonathanminkoff for the invitation!

Back on my alma mater stage, but this time as a headlining performer for the @singstrongacappella Festival. The very festival I used to volunteer at while studying vocal performance at Adelphi University, and truly one of the highlights of my years there.

Being back this time front and center, instead of behind the scenes, was such an incredibly surreal moment for me.

The SingStrong community is such a special one. They have watched me grow for over ten years now, and moments like these remind me what a beautiful and powerful thing music is, and how it brings together people from all different backgrounds and from all over the world.

Thank you to Jonathan Minkoff for believing in me and in my message, and for bringing me onto your stage. You are a true visionary, and I am so honored to have known you for so many years and to call you a friend.

Thank you to Julien and Ian from @harmonic_introductions for backing me so beautifully with the most magical, angelic, ethereal sounds. You brought these songs to life in a way I never could have done on my own. And to think we rehearsed for only a few minutes for the very first time right before stepping on stage.

Last but not least, thank you to @770band for inviting me to join you on A Dream Is a Wish. Truly some of the most talented vocalists I have worked with, and it was so effortless because you are all so incredible.

Wow. Music is such a beautiful thing. I am getting emotional just writing this. Thank you G-d.

“No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, a dream that you wish will come true” ❤️🎤🎵

pt. 1 – "The Purpose"

"The purpose of the activity is to just sit through the discomfort, work through it, work through the beautiful parts and at the end, you will created this piece of music that is entirely unique to this group of people right here."

Tags had a wonderful time volunteering at @singstrongacappella over the weekend. She coached several groups in preparation for competitions occurring at the festival. She adjudicated both the High School a cappella contest and semi-pro contest, Aca Idol! Interested in coaching with Tags? Shoot us a DM! by @singstrongacappella
