my favorite album of 2025 dropped this week — MOOD CONTROL by @blkodyssy ; it’s EVERYTHING, pls do yourself a favor and go listen (also watch the visuals) 🤭 I feel so deeply connected to this project partially bc I was fortunate enough to be around quite a bit of the creative process and have been completely captivated from start to finish, but also bc I’ve witnessed the musical genius and energy and intention invested into it and as an artist I am so inspired by every single release. I am so grateful I was asked to contribute vocals on multiple songs and I am so excited to see how this music moves people. You fr can’t listen and not move your body and I don’t even know how to dance fr but I be tryin 😂 I also found out that a second album I contributed vocals to ALL AMERICAN F*CK BOY by @duckwrth has been nominated for ‘Best Immersive Audio Album’ in the 2026 grammys!soooo I’m feeling like slide 4 rn 🙂‍↔️ gratitude would be an understatement, but I am truly so grateful to be a part of a family and a team of out of this world people (@earthchildentertainment) and that God gave me this gift to share. it’s so hard to believe that it’s been one year since Luvology was released. this body of work is so special to me and was truly birthed from luv i’ve experienced in its many forms. i found it really hard to narrow down the images and moments i wanted to share and I’ve also been a bit jaded with the overthinking that tends to accompany my posting 😂 - that being said i decided to make a passion project out of this post and take a different approach. i wanted to create something that embodied the energy of the album and something from my heart to express my gratitude for everyone who helped me make this happen and everyone who has listened to the album, shared it with others, or resonated with it in any capacity. my hope with this project was to spark more conversations around luv and its many stages, forms, and possibilities. my aspirations to inspire more romance are just as strong if not stronger than they were when the album first dropped.in a world that can feel heavy, my prayer as Luvology turns one is that we keep choosing luv—luv for ourselves, for our people, for the world around us. may we romanticize life again. may we bring back real luvrs. thank you for listening, for sharing, for resonating—here’s to more moments, more stories, and more ways to feel.♥️ by @singtomelara
