ধর্ম-বর্ণ-জাতি-বিদ্বেষে নয়, মানুষের দ্বারা হোক মনুষ্যত্বের জয়।

স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ আমাদের শিখিয়েছেন - নিজের শক্তিকে চিনতে, ভয়কে জয় করতে এবং লক্ষ্যপূরণের পথে অবিচল থাকতে। তাঁর বাণী আজও আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়, প্রকৃত স্বাধীনতা শুধু পরাধীনতার শৃঙ্খল থেকে মুক্ত হওয়া নয় - ভয়, হিংসা, স্বার্থপরতা, অন্যায় ও সংকীর্ণতার শৃঙ্খল থেকেও মুক্ত হওয়া।

ফুটবলের মাঠে যেমন জয়-পরাজয় দুটোই থাকে, তেমনই জীবনের পথেও থাকে নানা প্রতিকূলতা। কিন্তু খেলার মাঠ আমাদের শেখায় - শৃঙ্খলা, ধৈর্য, পরিশ্রম, সাহস, একে অপরকে সম্মান করা এবং শেষ মুহূর্ত পর্যন্ত লড়াই করে যাওয়া। আর এই শিক্ষাগুলোই একজন মানুষের চরিত্র গড়ে তোলে।

আজকের এই সামাজিক পরিস্থিতিতে আমাদের সবচেয়ে বেশি প্রয়োজন এমন স্বাধীন মানুষ -
যার মন সাহসী, বিবেক জাগ্রত এবং হৃদয় মানবিক।

মাঠে যেমন নিজের খেলাকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে হয়, জীবনে তেমনই নিজের অহংকার, হিংসা, লোভ ও বিদ্বেষকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে হয়।

স্বাধীনতার এই পবিত্র দিনে তাই সকলের অঙ্গীকার হোক....
ধর্ম নয় বিদ্বেষের পরিচয়,
জাতি নয় বিভেদের পরিচয়,
মানুষই হোক মানুষের পরিচয়।
স্বাধীনতার সত্যিকারের অর্থ হোক - মানবিকতা, ঐক্য, বিবেক ও মনুষ্যত্বের জয়।

স্বাধীনতা দিবসে সকলকে জানাই আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা, ভালোবাসা ও শুভকামনা।
সবাইকে ভালো রাখবেন এবং ভালো থাকবেন।
