king corona (2020), graphite and charcoal, 17”x23” fully combined

sooo…my art professor junior year was literally so obsessed with covid and uhhhhh yea ._. i had to work on covid related projects for 4 months. this was the first one which was based on covid cell morphology and the way covid as a disease was affecting people’s lives globally. by @sinigangcn

a half-assed painting (took like 20 min) but apparently professors from usc liked it enough to send me a letter just to tell me how much they liked it by @sinigangcn

college dorm study room (2023), charcoal & pencil on paper, 16”x22”

this was a space and place project for my drawing studio. we had to think of a mundane place but try to associate it with an unconventional adjective. i ended up with “creepy study room.” i made this in mind of the discomfort one feels when students stare at you through a window while working in a study room. by @sinigangcn
