About yesterday... This is the reason why I love @weekendofhorrorscon so much and will keep coming back - it just feels like a huge family even though you're hanging out with people you just met. On that note, thank you to everyone who I got to hang out with, whether it was the first time or we had already known eachother from my first ever conventions. I don't even know which year's convention I liked better - this year's or last year's - because the level of quality is just that consistant. Another thing that made both conventions so extraordinary to me were the celebrity encounters that I am so glad I got to experience. Last year, my highlight was the encounter I had with Scream VI's Ghostface Max Laferriere. To be fair though, I don't think any encounter will ever beat that one. But this year, I got to meet @nicotortorella which (as a big time Scream fan, obviously), was another huge deal for me. A first for me, though, was getting asked for pictures by TWO (!!) of the celebrity guests (Michaela Schaffrath and Margie Newton, hoping I'll get to see at least one of the pictures someday🤞). I can't even express what an honor (Scream 2022 reference🤭) that was. Also had a really nice conversation with Uwe Boll about his personal favourite films and films that influenced his work. Genuinely a super nice dude. Another thing I don't think I'll forget anytime soon is standing next to Ian Whyte and asking him how tall he is, to which he just replied "Very" LOLLLL And you BET you'll catch me there next year again👀 (For more WoH content, check out the highlight on my account) If you know any of the people that I didn't tag, please tell me their users in the comments!! Remaining cons for the year... Animexx Braunschweig - November 7th - as GHOSTFACE German Film And Comic Con - December 5th and 6th - as BRYAN HODUKAVICH and GHOSTFACE or RYLAND GRACE Animexx Braunschweig - December 12th - as BRYAN HODUKAVICH by @sinistersquid._
⚠️ALL WEAPONS FAKE, ONLY PROPS USED⚠️ Finally finished my Bryan cosplay from the new Resident Evil movie and finding all of the parts was surprisingly way harder than I expected it to be. Especially for me since, like with all of my cosplays, attention to detail is extremely important to me. So, naturally, it was a huge relief when the movie's costume designer (@carolinefahrerstylist who did a fantastic job by the way) came out with the costume details and specifics. Bryan's wardrobe had already caught my eye upon my first watch and is one of the many reasons why I wanted to cosplay this character in the first place. I'm pretty happy with how the final product turned out, even though I got the gloves in the wrong color (I'll fix that eventually) and I'm too broke to get his (Oh man, my f*cking) J's. These are just some photos to show off my cosplay and its details, I'll take proper pictures when there's snow in the region and when I'll debut this cosplay on December 5th at the German Film And Comiccon!! #residentevilcosplay #bryanhodukavich #residentevil #austinabrams #residentevilmovie by @sinistersquid._
"I suppose if the sun is dying, it CAN rain all the time." (See what I did there?) Here's the rest of the pics from the small shoot at @niconvention on Sunday. Also the first time my good cosplay pal @ralefletcher and I took pics together that were actually professional taken. Also the cosplay crossover we didn't think we'd get but we needed 📸: @cosbase #rylandgracecosplay #niconhannover #thecrowcosplay #projecthailmary #thecrow by @sinistersquid._
"If Grace Rocky save stars, we can go home." 📸: @cosbase Event: @niconvention Yeahhh, y'all are not getting the full post today, but at least you're getting one half. Anyway, finally used the opportunity to get some shots taken of me as Grace with Rocky at NiCon yesterday and I am really happy with how they turned out. NiCon in general was pretty fun, really enjoyed the reception I got for my cosplay, so thank you to everyone who came to talk to me about it🤭👎 (Yes, I'm aware the quote I used for this post isn't even in the finished film, it's only in the trailer) #niconhannover #projecthailmary #rylandgrace #rylandgracecosplay #rocky by @sinistersquid._
@weekendofhell - SATURDAY Thank you so much to everyone who made me have such a good time yesterday!! Got to meet many familiar faces but also new ones which I really, REALLY appreciate. Even though Corey is such a despised and possibly lesser known character, I took a lot of pictures with people and, to my surprise, got recognized pretty often. I don't even know if I have something I'd consider my personal highlight but meeting THE original Ghostface (@the_lee_waddell ) and getting my mask signed AND talking about my experience with Scream at his panel was certainly one of them. Meeting the Scream cast is always such a big deal for me as a Ghostface cosplayer. Lee is a great guy and if you have the chance to meet him: GO. FOR. IT. Contrary to a lot of other cons, I actually only bought a single thing yesterday, that being Re-Animator mediabook signed by the man Jeffrey Combs himself, which I never expected to ever own. Once again, bigggg thank you to everyone who made this possible!! Hope to everyone at Weekend Of Horrors (October 24th) and/or German Film And Comiccon (both days) #weekendofhell #convention #coreycunningham #horror #horrorcosplay by @sinistersquid._
(Unfortunately didn't take a lot pictures but still wanted to dedicate a post to it so here we go) Retronomicon Braunschweig on Saturday was a blast. Since it was my first retro convention ever, I didn't fully know what to expect but now I can say that literally everything about the con was absolutely fantastic. Compared to other cons I've attended before, the staff was super kind and by that I mean EXTREMELY kind. This goes for everyone else aswell. The evening prior, my friend and I decided to sign up for the cosplay competition and actually ended up winning best performance at the contest, which was a first for us too. Overall? Definitely going again next year and hoping to attend more retro conventions in the near future. IF YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOS/ VIDEOS OF ME (OR WITH MY FRIEND) DURING THE COSPLAY CONTEST, PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME #retronomicon #coreycunningham #cosplay #retroconvention #convention by @sinistersquid._

1ST ANNIVERSARY POST August 2nd 2025. That was exactly one year ago and the day I started this chapter of my account. 15-year old me walked into the Weekend Of Horrors that day, dressed in a 40€ Ghostface robe from Amazon with low expectations of being talked to and full of euphoria to finally be in the place I had aspired to be in for years - my first convention. But my thoughts got proven wrong. So many people approached me, whether it was to take a pic or to just talk for a while. And I loved every second of it. And that, in combination with people asking for my Instagram (which contained all sorts of bs and only had 13 followers at that time) encouraged me to start this new chapter of my account. And with that, my motivation to up my cosplay game grew even more. Soon, my second cosplay followed - Bradward Boimler. And to my surprise, even this lesser known character got recognized by a lot of people. At the end of September, I then joined Scream Cosplay Germany as the result of a chain of coincidences. There, I got to meet sooo many amazing people and fellow Scream cosplayers, 9 of which I met in December. That day at the GFCC will forever be unforgettable and I wanna thank everyone who I met that day for that. Only a few days later, my new Ghostface robe from Screamrobes arrived, a huge and great upgrade to my 40€ one to say the least. In 2026, I expanded my 2 cosplays to 4 with Corey Cunningham (in February) and Ryland Grace (in May) being the additions. Also, I started going to even more cons and met even more great people. (And I got the opportunity to be a walking act as Ghostface at my local movie theatre, to that I say FUCK YEAH and THANK YOU!!) I am so grateful for everything I got to experience in the past year and can only hope that this will keep going this way. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me so far on this journey. 🖤 (Didn't fit in the text but huge shoutout to Scream 6's Ghostface Max Laferriere who is such a nice damn dude, seemed genuinely interested in my cosplay at my first con, and even refused to charge me (like it usually goes) for a selfie.) #ghostface #scream #cosplay #cosplaying #projecthailmary by @sinistersquid._
