Not every room needs a renovation.

Sometimes the architecture is already there. The room simply needs to work better.

A Light Reset looks at what you already have — the layout, furniture, proportions, light and visual weight — and asks what could change without starting again from scratch.

Sometimes it’s a different arrangement.
Sometimes it’s editing what’s there.
Sometimes it’s introducing just a few new pieces.

The goal isn’t to make the room unrecognisable.

It’s to make it feel more considered, more balanced, and more like home.

Tous les intérieurs n’ont pas besoin d’être rénovés.

Parfois, l’architecture est déjà là. L’espace a simplement besoin de mieux fonctionner.

Un Light Reset part de ce qui existe déjà — la disposition, le mobilier, les proportions, la lumière et l’équilibre visuel — et cherche ce qui peut évoluer sans tout recommencer.

Parfois, il suffit de revoir la disposition.

Your bookends are doing more than holding books.

They can anchor a shelf, introduce a different material, create visual weight and give a collection of books a sense of intention.

These cement bookends do exactly that.

A simple form. A tactile material. A little architectural presence.

Because sometimes the smallest objects are the ones that quietly pull a composition together.

Ils peuvent ancrer une étagère, introduire une nouvelle matière, apporter du poids visuel et donner à une collection de livres une vraie intention.

This started as cardboard.

Not because cardboard was the obvious material for the job — quite the opposite.

We liked the idea of taking something ordinary, shaping it by hand, and giving it a completely different presence.

Cut.
Built.
Layered.
Finished.

Until the material becomes almost unrecognisable from where it began.

That’s what we love about making things ourselves: the material doesn’t always have to be precious. Sometimes it just needs a little imagination.

Ce projet a commencé avec du carton.

Pas parce que le carton était le matériau évident — bien au contraire.

Nous aimions l’idée de prendre quelque chose d’ordinaire, de le façonner à la main et de lui donner une présence complètement différente.

Découpé.
Construit.
Superposé.
Fini.

Jusqu’à ce que la matière devienne presque méconnaissable par rapport à son point de départ.

C’est ce que nous aimons dans le fait de créer nous-mêmes : le matériau n’a pas toujours besoin d’être précieux. Parfois, il suffit d’un peu d’imagination.

A room doesn’t start with a sofa.

Before we choose furniture, finishes or the final details, we build the visual language of the space.

The mood.
The palette.
The materials.
The proportions.
The feeling we want the room to have.

Then we let those decisions guide everything that follows — until the concept becomes a real room, with its own light, texture and character.

This is how we approach interior design at Sinopia: not filling a room, but building it from an idea.

Un intérieur ne commence pas par un canapé.

Avant de choisir le mobilier, les finitions ou les derniers détails, nous construisons le langage visuel de l’espace.

L’atmosphère.
La palette.
Les matières.
Les proportions.
La sensation que nous voulons créer.

Puis nous laissons ces choix guider tout ce qui suit — jusqu’à ce que le concept devienne un véritable intérieur, avec sa propre lumière, ses textures et son caractère.

C’est ainsi que nous abordons le design intérieur chez Sinopia : non pas en remplissant une pièce, mais en la construisant à partir d’une idée.

We wanted coastal decor without the cliché.

No seashell overload.
No “beach house” look.
No need to make a room announce that it lives by the sea.

Just a few quiet references to it — a sail, a starfish, a shell, a piece of coral — interpreted as sculptural objects and placed into spaces where they can simply belong.

Because living by the Mediterranean doesn't mean your home has to look like a souvenir shop.

Sometimes the sea is better when it's only hinted at.

Nous voulions une décoration inspirée de la mer, sans les clichés.

Pas d’accumulation de coquillages.
Pas d’ambiance « maison de plage ».
Pas besoin de faire savoir à chaque objet que l’on vit au bord de la mer.

Juste quelques références discrètes — une voile, une étoile de mer, un coquillage, un morceau de corail — interprétées comme des objets sculpturaux et intégrées naturellement à l’espace.

Parce que vivre en Méditerranée ne signifie pas que votre intérieur doit ressembler à une boutique de souvenirs.

Parfois, la mer est plus belle lorsqu’elle n’est qu’évoquée.

Autumn doesn’t have to mean changing everything.

Sometimes it’s just warmer light, richer textures, a candle burning on the table, and the scent of something spiced drifting through the room.

Caramelised maple.
Spiced warmth.
Rich hazelnut coffee & cream.

Small shifts that make a home feel a little more inviting as the season changes.

Because cosy is less about adding more — and more about changing the atmosphere.

L’automne ne signifie pas forcément tout changer.

Parfois, il suffit d’une lumière plus chaleureuse, de textures plus riches, d’une bougie allumée sur la table et du parfum de quelque chose d’épicé qui flotte dans la pièce.

Érable caramélisé.
Chaleur épicée.
Café noisette & crème.

De petits changements qui rendent la maison un peu plus accueillante lorsque la saison évolue.

Parce que le confort ne consiste pas à en ajouter davantage — mais à changer l’atmosphère.

The elephants sold out.

So when we found the giraffe, it felt like the natural next addition to the collection.

The elephant is often associated with abundance, strength and good fortune.

The giraffe brings a different kind of energy: perspective, vision and the ability to see beyond what is immediately in front of you.

We like that contrast.

One grounded.
One looking a little further.

Both sculptural. Both slightly unexpected. And both very much at home in a well-composed space.

The giraffe has just arrived at Sinopia. 🦒

Les éléphants sont partis.

Alors, lorsque nous avons trouvé la girafe, elle nous a semblé être la nouvelle venue naturelle de la collection.

L'éléphant est souvent associé à l'abondance, à la force et à la chance.

La girafe évoque une énergie différente : la perspective, la vision et la capacité à voir au-delà de ce qui se trouve immédiatement devant soi.

Nous aimons ce contraste.

L'un ancré.
L'autre tourné un peu plus loin.

Tous deux sculpturaux. Tous deux un peu inattendus. Et tous deux parfaitement à leur place dans un espace bien composé.

La girafe vient d'arriver chez Sinopia. 🦒

Early autumn, without changing everything.

A few warmer tones. Softer textures.
A little more wood, a little more warmth.

Sometimes the seasons don't need a complete reset. Just a subtle shift in the way a space feels.

This is our kind of autumn. 🍂

Début d'automne, sans tout changer.

Quelques tons plus chauds.Des textures plus douces.
Un peu plus de bois, un peu plus de chaleur.

Parfois, les saisons n'ont pas besoin de tout bouleverser. Un simple changement subtil suffit à transformer l'atmosphère d'un espace.

C'est notre façon d'accueillir l'automne. 🍂

Most people think you get your life in order, and then the house follows — you finally have the energy to organise the cupboard, finally feel settled enough to hang the art.

We think it's the other way around. The house isn't what happens after your life comes together. It's one of the fastest ways to make that happen.

This isn't about owning less. A maximalist room can be perfectly ordered. A nearly empty one can be chaos if nothing has a place. Order isn't about quantity — it's about every object knowing where it belongs.

A space that requires constant low-level decisions — where does this go, why is this here — taxes the same mental resources you need for everything else. A tidy laundry room isn't a small domestic win. It's one less unresolved decision sitting quietly in the back of your mind.

We take a utility cupboard as seriously as a living room. Nobody photographs a well-designed laundry shelf. We'd argue it does more for someone's actual life than the piece everyone notices first.

Start with the room nobody sees. The order tends to travel from there.

Let's talk.

La plupart des gens pensent qu'il faut d'abord mettre sa vie en ordre pour que la maison suive — qu'on trouve enfin l'énergie de ranger le placard, qu'on se sent enfin assez stable pour accrocher les tableaux.

Nous pensons que c'est l'inverse. La maison n'est pas ce qui arrive une fois que la vie s'est stabilisée. C'est l'un des moyens les plus rapides d'y arriver.

Ce n'est pas une question de posséder moins. Une pièce maximaliste peut être parfaitement ordonnée. Une pièce presque vide peut être chaotique si rien n'y a sa place. L'ordre n'est pas une question de quantité — c'est que chaque objet connaisse sa place.

Un espace qui exige sans cesse de petites décisions — où va ceci, pourquoi est-ce là — sollicite les mêmes ressources mentales que tout le reste de la journée. Une buanderie bien rangée n'est pas un petit détail domestique. C'est une décision non résolue de moins, tapie discrètement au fond de l'esprit.
