BYR 1306 - NIGHT VERSION .
We’ve finally released the video of our art installation on the @meokalorama 2025 stage.
Here’s the night version of the installation, where the stage becomes a pulsating digital temple, and the interaction between light and form takes on a hypnotic rhythm.

Inspired by the aesthetics of Gothic cathedrals, the installation BYR 1306 transforms the main stage of MEO Kalorama Festival into a modular cathedral of light. With translucent polycarbonate strips in blue, yellow, and red, it evokes the beauty of stained glass by exploring the passage of light as a central element of the experience.

BYR 1306 - DAY .
We’ve finally released the video of our art installation on the @meokalorama 2025 stage.
Here’s the daytime version of the installation.

Inspired by the aesthetics of Gothic cathedrals, the installation BYR 1306 transforms the main stage of MEO Kalorama Festival into a modular cathedral of light. With translucent polycarbonate strips in blue, yellow, and red, it evokes the beauty of stained glass by exploring the passage of light as a central element of the experience. 

By day, natural light activates vibrant colors that cast ever-changing reflections and shadows.

ÁGUAS DO TEMPO | WATERS OF TIME
A performance, exhibition and collective artistic research on water, memory and territory in Odiáxere.
Water never remains still. It moves, disappears, returns, and carries with it the traces of time, communities and landscapes.
Águas do Tempo brings together artistic research, scientific data, local memory and community creation to explore how water has shaped the territory of Odiáxere — its landscapes, agricultural practices, histories and ways of living.
Throughout several weeks, stories, photographs, archives, maps and memories were collected through encounters with local communities. Workshops with students from Escola Básica de Odiáxere and participants from Espaço Dunas transformed these memories into drawings, sculptures, objects and collective narratives.
The exhibition presents the result of this process, creating an affective cartography of Odiáxere where natural and human heritage meet.
The research also gives rise to an audiovisual performance by Paulina Almeida and Francisca Rocha Gonçalves, with FLUTUA — Orquestra de Flautas- by the maestro Jorge Salgado Correia.
Historical data tracing the evolution of water levels across centuries becomes sound, light and movement. Laser projections draw an ephemeral map of water fluctuations, while sound transforms these variations into frequencies and resonances, creating an acoustic landscape where the past becomes present.
Together, the exhibition and performance invite us to experience the territory not as something fixed, but as a living organism in constant transformation.
At a time when climate change is profoundly reshaping our relationship with water, Águas do Tempo asks how art can make visible what is often difficult to see: the slow movements of the land, the memory carried by water, and the stories embedded in a changing landscape.
