I honestly don’t even know what to say. Well, that’s a lie… we all know I always have something to say! 😋

But seriously, THANK YOU.

When I started Ducking Realitea, I wanted to create a space where we could talk about real life, the messy, the hard, the funny stuff, and all the things we sometimes feel like we have to keep to ourselves.

Billy Ribak started teaching music to one kid and somehow ended up building an entire rock ’n’ roll school.

This week, Billy joins me to talk about growing up playing music with his brother Marc, turning those after-school jam sessions into 3 O’Clock Rock, and teaching young musicians to start bands, write songs, make records, play shows, and go on tour.

We also get into The Ogres’ Anh Phoong jingle, why being in a band teaches you how to be in relationships, and how 39 students ended up recording 22 songs at Abbey Road Studios, with a surprise upgrade courtesy of a rock star.
