What are the odds of finding something you’ve been looking for TWICE in one week?!

I’m starting to think the thrift gods are on my side lately. Has this ever happened to you? by @sipplement

Just another thrift trip looking at random things… until I found the Heart of the Ocean. 💙

Okay, it’s actually a paperweight, but tell me this doesn’t belong in Titanic.

Would you have picked it up? by @sipplement

Just when I thought I was having a pretty normal thrift trip, the book section surprised me again.

There were definitely a few things that caught my eye along the way, but I saved my favorite find for last.

I’m starting to think I should never skip the book section again!

Who says fine dining has to be fancy? 😂

Dino nuggets served in vintage silverware, because why not?

Kinda chic, if you ask me by @sipplement

A little reminder for anyone who feels like they should be further along by now. Sometimes progress is easier to see when you look back instead of ahead. by @sipplement

This is why I always check the book section, even when I’m convinced I won’t find anything 😅

I’ve been hoping to thrift a Martha Stewart book for what feels like forever, and today was finally the day.

Sometimes the best find of the trip is the one you almost didn’t look for.

Pumpkins in every color, scarecrows around every corner, and a day wandering around Peddler’s Village. This is exactly what I want September to look like.

I think fall might have officially won me over. 🍂

Late night Goodwill trips just hit differently. 😂

I found a silver lamp with the cutest pleated shade, some vintage holiday yard signs that were hard to pass up, and then the find I definitely wasn’t expecting…

A Wedgwood plate for basically $3?! 🤯

This is exactly why I can never just “quickly look around” at Goodwill.

The Thrift Report Episode 12

Today’s thrift find: this simple wooden stool that immediately caught my eye.

Of course, you can use it for its intended purpose, but I love pieces that can do a little more. Style it in a corner or next to a chair with a stack of books, flowers, or a candle and suddenly it becomes part of the decor.

Would you use it as a stool or style it as a little side table? by @sipplement

Some thrift trips are a total bust, and then you have days like this 😉

A few things for hosting, some vintage art, and a 99¢ pink tag that made the decision for me.

I’d say the thrift gods were on my side today.

Shhh… I’m Polishing

Yes, I actually dropped the glass. 😂 Thankfully, the rest of the polishing went a little more smoothly.

These thrifted silver plated glass coasters cleaned up so nicely, I had to put them to use.

And yes, that is Coke Zero in a wine glass. We’re keeping things classy around here.

The Thrift Report Episode 11

Today’s thrift finds: a mix of metals that I couldn’t leave behind.

A silver plated revere bowl, a little vintage julep cup engraved with “BABY,” and this brass and copper moon and stars piece that immediately caught my eye. Plus a beautiful green granite stone.

Three completely different finds, but somehow they look pretty good together.
