Meet B.Finlay 🎶

Singer-songwriter @bfinlaymusic is stepping into a new chapter of his music with an upcoming EP shaped by life, change, getting older and continuing to make space for creativity along the way.

This one feels a little extra special for me, Brennan and I have known each other for about 20 years, and music has always been somewhere in the background of our friendship, from coffee houses and showcases to plenty of evenings singing at his mom’s house.

We chatted about the new EP, the stories behind “Burn It Down” and “Every Part of Me,” fatherhood, creativity, and what it means to keep coming back to music through all the different seasons of life. 💛

🎙️ New episode coming soon!

The Sip Session is ONE! 🥹💜🎉

A year ago I launched this little idea of sitting down with interesting people, grabbing a coffee and hearing their stories.

Such a full circle moment to be featured by @modernmississauga in a @glimpse_productions Q&A about how The Sip Session started, how it’s grown and where I’d love to see it go next.

I’m so grateful to every artist, creative and person who has supported this little space over the past year.

Thank you @glimpse_productions for turning the questions around on me for once haha.

Meet Barbara anne 🤠

Essex County country artist @barbaraannemusic is a singer-songwriter, mom, works full-time and is one half of @northernmuseduo, balancing everyday life while continuing to make space for the music she loves.

We chatted about how music found her, juggling all the different hats, what keeps her creative, her latest single “A Little Country,” and why there’s always room to chase something that matters to you.

This one’s for anyone trying to make space for their creative side in the middle of a very full life. 💜

Meet Annika Catharina 🌟

B.C. country artist @annikacatharinamusic is stepping into a new chapter with her sophomore EP Up All Night, a project that feels more authentically her than ever. It moves between confident, sassy and fun moments and songs rooted in healing and reflection.

Through this new chapter, Annika has also found her way back to something at the heart of why she started making music in the first place: the joy of it.❤️

We chat about the evolution of her sound, finding that confidence, the stories behind Up All Night, and the music that helped shape this chapter. Plus, we get to know Annika beyond the songs, from her close bond with her mom to a few specific pet peeves and plenty of laughs.

This one’s for anyone learning to trust what feels true to them and find the joy in it again.✨

Country music… with a side of EDM? 👀🎶

Turns out @carsonjanik’s Apple Music might be just as unpredictable as mine. 😂

Meet Carson Janik ☀️

Ontario country artist @carsonjanik discovered country music in an unexpected place, on a high school bus ride where hearing a Luke Combs song helped change the direction of his musical journey. 🎶

Now, he’s releasing new music, touring across North America, and is one of three finalists in the Cottage Springs Country Rising competition and the only finalist from Ontario. 🇨🇦

We chat about his journey into country music, growing up in a musical family, and the diverse influences behind his sound. Plus, we get into his latest single Summertime and this exciting chapter of his career. 👀

This one’s for anyone who believes one small moment can change everything.✨
