Super happy to announce and release ‘Star Sailor’ that I made almost a year ago now!! 😁✨
Despite procrastinating making the cover art, I really loved how it came out! Looking back on my manga, there are definitely things I’d change now, but I’m still super proud of how it turned out! Initially it was made for a manga competition, and even tho I didn’t win anything, I’m glad I pushed myself to make it. Now, I can share it with all of you guys🤭❤️
So please enjoy!! There will definitely be more original manga/comics coming from me in the future 👀

This piece has been under the works for a LOOONG time as I only started drawing it as a doodle, and continued it whenever I had some extra time on my hands! However, I’m super satisfied with the results 😭❤️✨!
It’s very different from my normal illustrations! Here, I’ve focused on doing clean lineart with hatching, and then adding colors without drawing on top of the lineart (like I usually render)! I’m not a huge fan of coloring within the lines (I’d rather color over them 😭), but I sort of figured out a way that I could still get the same effect in the end result!
I’ve learned a lot from this other process, and it’s actually been really nice that the lineart has been doing most of the heavy lifting when it comes to the final look!

I did this illustration for a friend's birthday!

I have no idea who this character is but I tried reading up on him and the story, and convey his personality in the artwork!
