⚠️ POPPERS ARE NOT RISK FREE ⚠️

“VCR cleaner,” “Rush,” “Locker Room,” or alkyl nitrites — whatever name they go by, poppers are common in parts of the MSM and nightlife communities. But mixing them with medications like Viagra or Cialis can be extremely dangerous and may cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure.

They can also cause severe headaches, dizziness, fainting, burns, and a dangerous condition called methemoglobinemia, where your blood cannot carry oxygen correctly. And remember: poppers should NEVER be swallowed.

Harm reduction matters.
Know what you’re taking.

🚿 Bottoming Tip: More douching is NOT always better.

Over-douching can irritate the rectal lining, disrupt the microbiome, and may increase susceptibility to certain sexually transmitted infections. The goal is comfortable and reasonably clean—not endless rinsing. 💙

✅ Use lukewarm water
✅ Keep volumes modest
✅ Avoid soaps and harsh chemicals
✅ Stop when you’re reasonably clean

Your rectum is not a dishwasher. 😉

💉✨ ROUND TWO of Yeztugo®! 🛡️❤️‍🔥

I just received my second round of injections for Yeztugo® (lenacapavir) — the long-acting injectable PrEP option for HIV prevention. 🏳️‍🌈💪🏼🩺

So far, my experience has been GREAT 🙌🏼✨ No significant side effects, no lingering injection-site pain, and no issues between doses. Obviously, everyone’s experience can be different — but for me, this has been an incredibly convenient way to stay protected. 🛡️

And here’s the game changer: after initiation, Yeztugo is given just once every 6 months. 🤯💉📆 Clinical trials showed ≥99.9% of participants receiving twice-yearly lenacapavir remained HIV-negative. 🔥🔬

PrEP has OPTIONS. 💊💉 Find the one that works for your body, your lifestyle, and your sex life. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️

⚠️ Remember: PrEP protects against HIV, but does not protect against other STIs. Regular HIV/STI screening and appropriate prevention strategies still matter. 🧪🩺

🔥🍎 FIRE CIDER: PART 2 🍎🔥

The verdict is in… BRACING. 😂🌶️🔥 Definitely wakes you ALL the way up.

But we’re wasting NOTHING over here ♻️👨‍🍳 I took all those leftover apples, garlic, ginger, citrus, peppers & spices, dried them down, and turned them into a homemade dry seasoning 🧄🍊🌶️✨

Fall & winter are here 🍂❄️ — so take care of yourselves! Eat well 🥕🥦, move your body 💪, prioritize sleep 😴, wash those hands 🧼, stay hydrated 💧, and keep up with the vaccines and preventive care recommended for you 💉🩺.

Fire cider can be a fun seasonal tradition — but the boring evidence-based stuff is still doing the heavy lifting. 😉🔥

Stay spicy. Stay healthy. 🧜‍♂️🔥🍎💪 by @siren_slick2
