It is with utter giddiness and glee that I announce we are officially part of The Vault Collective in downtown PVD on Westminster St.! Since the first time visiting the Vault as a recent RI transplant, I knew this was a special space. And after managing the store for 6 months last year, I was only more convinced I wanted the Vault to be a part of my next vintage chapter.

Thank you so much to the fabulous folks at the Vault I get to work and vend alongside. I’m so excited to transform this groovy lil corner into something all my own!

Come by and visit the Vault everyday from 11-7pm, & every other Sunday to visit yours truly in person!

We’re beyond stoked to bring some of our favorite wacky treasures straight to the cool kids of pvd

I love swaps.
They have been some of my favorite get togethers for the last 12(?!) years that I’ve been hosting them. They’ve changed and evolved so much over the decade+ but they are truly nothing but the best of community, generosity, and silly childish dress up vibes. And this past Friday was no exception 💙

I promise that people took things and played dress up besides @acadia.denali.yellowstone @thekenbaby and @cheerfultheclown , but that’s what you get when the performer folk show up to the swap— they lead the dress up charge! And I love it 🥰🥰

We don’t believe in winners at The Swap, but if we did, Acadia in this dramatic micro mini (slide 2) might just be it.

Last slide shows the massive pile of leftovers (including a BUNCH of vintage I threw in from my studio clean out/fill a bag sale). If you missed out and feel like digging for treasure, shoot me a message to schedule a time to come by. But it won’t be here long so don’t linger!

This Friday, we’re back baby!

The weather is perfectly crisp, wonderfully blustery, that fabulous fall breeze in the air that makes you wanna pull your collar into your neck and put on your best leather jacket.

So purge those closets and make some room for some new cold weather ware, cause it’s time for another clothing swap!

Here’s the gist - bring all your unwanted clothing and accessories in good, CLEAN condition. We’ll make a big ol pile and dig through. Take what works, leave behind what doesn’t, and the leftovers will get donated to organizations across RI. Don’t have clothes to bring? No problem! There’s plenty for everyone.

Some snacks and beverages provided but byob or snack contributions always welcome and appreciated.

All identities, body types, styles welcome. Bring a friend or crew, but kind and supportive vibes only. No disrespectful or greedy behavior tolerated.

In the blink that was September I somehow forgot to share these lovely shots of the last @pvdlemonadestand of the season. All shot by the very talented @gaydragongeek

I’m a cold weather kinda gal through and through, but this season of outdoor markets was such fun. Lounging in the grass, live music, new friends, enjoying those occasionally perfect New England summer days.

I really was feeling the color pink this summer too! I’ve always thought of Siren & Saint as a moody, autumnal, dark colored kinda identity but hey, maybe in the very spirit of containing multitudes and dualities that SSV was founded on, the color palette and branding of SSV should be seasonal and changing as well? Sunny spring and summer days feel like rosy pink and vibrant green to me.

While I’ll miss cold crispy drinks in the sunshine, I am OH SO ready for spiced spiked toddies by the firepit, cozying up the halls of @rauschhauspvd with vendors and live music while the cold rages outside. There is a beautiful magic to indoor markets too, seducing friends and strangers to leave their homes for cozy community.

So until we’re back in the sunshine of @pvdlemonadestand or @swellfolkfestival or the @rauschhauspvd backyard, let’s find (and make!) the occasions to gather and support and exchange in the cold months ahead 💙 taken in Providence, Rhode Island by @sirensaintvintage

We’re back! And this time not letting any kind of unpredictable autumn weather get us down.

Swing by everyone’s favorite east PVD spot for tunes and hangs, @myrtle.rhodeisland this Sunday, 10/11, to shop local vendors and makers from 12-5pm. Art, vintage clothing, vinyl records, and more, plus the tasty cocktails and cozy vibes of Myrtle! What more could you want on a Sunday afternoon?!

Another LCT in the books and at this point idk if I’ll ever not get the blues when each one ends. What a truly special event, never ceasing to amaze me with the quality of humans that are a part of it.

New friends that feel like old friends, shoppers that feel like family, internet friends that become irl friends, spending money on clothes that doesn’t feel shameful. And my god a beautiful fucking collection of clothing.

Thank you @ampersandcreativecompany for creating such a beautiful environment, one where sales seem almost secondary because it’s just such a good time. Y’all are responsible for connecting me with some of my now dearest friends.

Highlights: I sold my two favorite coats, my hand-dyed pieces were a big hit, I scored absurdly cool nighties and slips to add to my collection, became best buds with @rustedanchorantiques who bought this beast of a family heirloom ring from me (and gave me the greatest, most me pendant I’ve ever seen, not pictured), getting to the afterparty early enough for free food

Extra special shoutout to my darling, new best friend @redrabbitbazaar — we met in the parking of the March LCT cause I stopped her to compliment her van. Then this past weekend she stayed at my house and we had the most magical & connecting hangs. What an exceptional person you are, radiating such joy and love. Sunday morning sofa cuddle therapy pre-LCT is now a core memory. Not to mention this killer 70s leather trench I snatched from you 🥰

Cheers to great neighbors and the new friendships that all derive from our silly little loves for funky clothes and old shit.

Just a few short days from one of the two greatest weekends of the year (the other obviously being LCT in March!).

I always save my most special and beautiful pieces for @littlecitythrifty (especially the October weekend, cause yall know I love my coats) and this weekend is no exception!

Expect : a full rack of jackets and coats (leather, furs, faux furs, wool pea coats, etc), a whole bunch of lingerie, and of course a gorgeous rack of true vintage dresses and gowns. Sprinkling in some choice pants, skirts and tops. Oh! And lots of boots!!

Extra excited about the FULL RACK of vintage lingerie, nighties, robes, and slips I have for you, including some custom, hand-dyed slips in an array of vibrant colors.

I’ve been scheming to do one of these for a while, and now that I’m finally, nearly finished purging and organizing my studio, it’s happening.

$10 FILL A BAG SALE!!
Sunday 9/27
12-5pm

Join me at this Sundays Music & Makers event @rauschhauspvd where I’ll have 6+ massive bins worth of clothing in a big pile for you to dig through. Vintage, modern, men’s, women’s, all sizes and styles. Some pieces may be damaged, some I’m just tired of looking at.

It’s $10 per bag (as much as you can fit without it tearing) and as many bags as you want. Buy 4 bags get a 5th one free.

And who knows, maybe I’ll bring down to $5/bag for the last hour…

PS there’s also gonna be hella other vendors! And live music! And drinks! And all sorts of fun things so don’t miss out on the day.

I love when friends come and hang out at the studio with me cause inevitably they start playing dress up and then inevitably I tell them to keep things because really I got into this business because I just wanted cool clothes to go to cool people so when something is *made* for someone they just have to have it, you know?

So I was delighted my lil sprite of a buddy Izzy came to help me do some show prep and organizing at the studio. I rediscovered this tiny cropped velvet vest and when I asked them to model it, it just happened to fit perfectly (and so fits their witchy-woodland vibe). And then the pants…well I truly don’t know how they didn’t find their way to Izzy before now (as our own resident Green Person of PVD). These two tone green corduroy pants I’ve had for a confusingly long time but it’s just cause they were waiting for their forever home with sweet @clown_tower_studio !!

All this to say : come hang out at my studio in Lincoln! It’s right underneath/next to @bignicestudio so there’s cool music folks around. Plus I have this ridiculous 70s red round bed you can take a nap on (or selfies) until I make you model for me.

Orrrr you can make an appointment to come shop the studio too (that’s right, I suppose this is sorta a business after all?). I can hand pick some pieces for you or you can just come scour the racks.

Last Saturday @pvdlemonadestand was so much fun that I decided I just gotta come back this Saturday 9/5!

In all seriousness, what an incredible event this is. Wonderful and gracious hosts, amazingly talented live music, darling other vendors, and a diverse group of attendees all contributed to making last Saturday such a fun day. One of those, epitome-of-summer kind of days.

Sold some of my favorite pieces I brought, including several pieces I recently hand dyed (like my slip dress too!). Gotta really go hunting for some new treasures to bring this Saturday.

I believe this is the last one of the summer, so don’t miss it!
