UK based artist making something tangible out of my thoughts without constantly shouting at the radio, and enjoying our wild and wooly weather.

Transferable skills II. New data centre in Shrewsbury! This time delivering to Oxfam's new bookshop in Princess Street, just off The Square. This is their second bookshop in the town, much larger than their existing much loved shop in Dogpole which is due to reopen as Oxfam's first specialist crime literature shop. Watch this space! Meanwhile nip round to Princess Street and treat yourself to a couple of Sally Rooneys. #shrewsbury #shropshire #oxfam #bookshop by @sirgraeme

Bryn Mawr from Dyffryd Lane, Maesbrook here on the Welsh border. Watercolour and bodycolour on heavy paper 175 x 305 mm. approx. From our view looking west into Powis the clump of trees on the top has a gloriously punky look of a good mohican. The picture is destined for the Borderland Visual Artists Winter Show at the Willow Gallery, Oswestry. #borderland_visual_arts #willowgalleryoswestry #watercolour #landscapepainting #shropshireartist by @sirgraeme

Transferable skills. After 40 years of transporting clients pictures I have today been delivering some of my own. To Oriel Ty Meirion #orieltymeirion in Dyffryn Ardudwy on the Welsh coast for Mima's next show. Also took pictures for Alison Holt #alisonholt, Judith Harrison #judith_harrison_artist and Louise Diggle #louise.diggle.artist. A busy van - always best. Thanks Mima. by @sirgraeme

Nasturtiums. Small watercolour painting on brown paper 125 x 135 mm approx. I like the impression that this is a fragment from a larger composition, possibly wallpaper. It isn't. #watercolourpainting #flowerpainting #nasturtium #artonpaper #worksonpaper by @sirgraeme

Not all the pictures I sold at last weekend's Open Studios were framed: here's two that were bought unframed. Photo 1 is "Looking Out from Kilclief, Northern Ireland" showing the lighthouse at the mouth of Strangford Lough. Photo 2 is "Windfarm in Liverpool Bay".
Gearing up for the second weekend of Borderland Visual Artists Open Studios in and around Oswestry, Shropshire this coming weekend. I'll be back in the Willow Gallery.
