A huge highlight of my summer was a family reunion!!! The reunion was prompted by multiple people in my family reaching a significant decade in their life, and the most significant of them all - my grandma!! She turned 80 this year!! My grandma is awesome, she’s such a strong spirit and she really keeps the family together, there were maybe 30 or 40 of us gathered at Manning Park all from my mom’s side. It was so nice to see my cousins, aunts, and uncles all together. It was a blast. We ate amazing meals and we all went on a hike together! The second picture is a bunch of us crossing a bridge on the hike. It was so nice and I loved seeing everyone and some people got to meet for the first time, very special. Another highlight was riding a boat - I love this picture we all look so happy! Later in the summer, Lizz and I got all dressed up and ate at a rooftop bar in Vancouver! It was beautiful and a long time coming! We wanted to go to a rooftop bar back in LA years ago - it was a great evening and a perfect send off for my time in Europe! Excited to share those pictures next. by @sirister8

A Summer full of celebration! My grandpa Brian turned 80 - we had a lovely dinner at the Hart House. I celebrated Lizz graduating from BCIT - I’m so proud of her!!! I got to watch little Isobel grow up, she recently turned 1!! I can’t believe it! I had the privilege to spend the day with Ola on her birthday and Olivia spent the day with me on my birthday in Victoria. I was able to visit my grandys cabin twice with Aidan, Olivia, Julianna, Tulio, Ramiro, my grandy and my dad! And of course what’s a cabin trip without dogs! My dearest Ruby, Opie, and Sage joined us on our outdoor adventures. I got to see some friends in Montreal - Laura, Shubanker, Danny, and Francois before heading to the Ottawa Blues Fest with Beatrice where I got to see Shaggy!! Omg shaggy was so good!! I also got to see Sheryl Crow, my inspiration, angine de poutine and Gwen Stefani. Great times. I always treasure the time I get to spend with Beatrice, and I’m thankful we got to go to Ottawa together! We had a lovely meal all dressed up one night and visited the National Art Gallery which I love. Then I got to celebrate my friend Olivia’s love at her reception!! I did all the flowers so if you know someone who needs flowers for their wedding I’m officially in business! Then to top it all off stephie made and sent me this loon patch. I look so cool. I miss skiing!!! ⛷️ Had so much fun this ski season. So many sunsets on the hill 🌅 plus I got to go with friends and family! Though I’m always happy to ride alone too, it’s fun no matter what. We’ve been on so many incredible adventures over the years that I will always cherish. I also just love chilling on a couch watching sitcoms with you. Show night was incredible!!! My EP release party was super fun!!! Thank you to everyone that supports my music, everyone who came to my show, and everyone who wishes they could have been there!! I love everybody so much! It was so cool to have a crowd full of friends and family! Big shout out to Evan and Barry who played music, Devin, Karen and Nick who manned the tables, Olivia and Anna who played the videos and Lizz who took pictures. 🦅Eagle on LSD 🦅 is one of the songs on my upcoming EP ‘In and Out of Earth’. This song tells the sad story of an eagle whose habitat is being destroyed. The eagle ends up eating bottles and cans, gets covered in oil, and is strangled by plastic, poor guy. Let’s keep our beaches clean! Join me @bullysstudios on August 21st for my album release party!
