This has been quite the journey. To be honest, I don’t feel like this painting is done. There are parts that look messy and areas I straight up don’t like. At the same time, it’s beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s art, and it is what it is. Two and a half years of work on and off put into this. To me, this project represents the transition from painting because it’s cool and fun to painting because it’s something which releases the essence of my soul. It taught me to flow and allow the art to make itself through me. The art is never really done, and sometimes it’s just time to let go. So I’ve decided to be done judging and release it to the world. I’m happy to present to you -

LeRoy "Baddie" Badger

@badgermusicfestival

Created over the weekend during a fantastic gathering of bass heads and art enjoyers. Big ups to the team of badgers who made that thang happen.

I exclusively worked on this canvas during shows 5AM Trio was headlining. The three musicians pictured are intended to be the Trio themselves.

During a show Max approached me while I was live painting and started telling me about how he had 5am Trio play at his wedding. By the end of the night we agreed the canvas should end up in his home.

Moments like these make an artist feel more like a channel than a creator. Arriving in a moment to produce an idea which can connect people over time.

"Tides of Change"

I was invited to live paint for a couple stops of @joshteedmusic tour this weekend. This painting was inspired by the poster art for the event. Honored to pass it on to Josh for him to have in his studio 🙏
