A journey of dedication, resilience, and learning has finally paid off.

Through the Institute of Information Management, in conjunction with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, I had the privilege of undergoing a rigorous Data Protection Officer certification programme.

The journey included intensive physical classes, virtual sessions, challenging mock examinations, and an even tougher final examination. By God's grace, every challenge was worth it.

I am delighted to announce that I have successfully emerged victorious and am now a Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO).

Meet Former Minister Of Foreign Affairs under President Buhari's Administration, Ambassador Zubairu Dada – A Distinguished Son of Gbagyi Land

Born on 28th March 1952 in Minna, Niger State, Ambassador Zubairu Dada stands as one of the shining lights of Gbagyi heritage—an illustrious diplomat, seasoned public servant, and bridge-builder for Nigeria across the globe.

From his early days at Gwari N.A. Primary School and Fatima Secondary School, Minna, to earning his degrees in English & French at Ahmadu Bello University and Law & Diplomacy at the University of Jos, Amb. Dada prepared himself for a lifetime of service and representation.

His journey began as an Information Officer in the North Western State in 1974, and he rose steadily through public service:

Director of MAMSER (1992–1993)

Director of the National Orientation Agency (1993–1999)

Ambassador to Poland (1999–2003)

Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Mozambique & Madagascar (2004–2007)

Federal Revenue Commissioner for Niger State

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (2019–2023)

Ambassador Dada has dedicated over four decades to advancing Nigeria’s interests, promoting diplomacy, and upholding the values of service and integrity—qualities deeply rooted in Gbagyi culture.

He remains a beacon of wisdom, loyalty, and leadership, embodying the spirit of a true Gbagyi icon whose story continues to inspire generations.

For the 3rd time, I was honored to serve as a judge at the ongoing Bwari DYC Conference, graciously hosted at FGGC Bwari.

From the electrifying DYC Talent Hunt to the soul-lifting LYC Choir Competition, these singing contests have become a powerful stage for unearthing remarkable talents and, above all, for manifesting the glory of God through music and gifted expressions.

My deepest gratitude goes to Bwari DCC and the entire Bwari DYC leadership for curating such a transformative experience. taken in FGGC Bwari Abuja by @sirtnb

This impactful program officially launched its operations in West Africa, starting with Nigeria, and Bwari Area Council was honored to be their first point of engagement. Already, many youths in our community are actively participating in skills acquisition training, opening doors to empowerment and brighter futures.
