Today we share the first look at the record cover for Ave Maria (Vavilov Version) and the meaning behind The Mater Dolorosa Project. It is a 7 song project based on the 7 sorrows of Mary. The Mater Dolorosa means “Sorrowful Mother” and in the context of this project is a deep reflection on the suffering of women and children. The complete explanation of the project can be found at www.thematerdolorosaproject.com which is also linked in my profile. The Ave Maria is the first of these 7 songs. It is also the first release under Sangtuary Records. This is a philanthropic project with all proceeds going to the food bank and children’s clothing programs at Sangtuary. This project will also benefit select children’s charities across the globe. Available on August 17th. Produced by @tommylsims, Piano performance and Arrangement by Tatia Rose, Vocals @sisterrandolph, Cello @thatcelloguy15, Photography @youngmitz A tremendous thank you to @cathedralnashville for permitting us to take these incredible photographs for the record cover. Recorded at @thefishercenter and @coveredbridgerecording Media/PR requests to @mypr_lab by @sisterrandolph
