Rooted in the tradition of sacred steel and fueled by the fierce, faith-filled spirit of modern gospel blues, Nikki D & the Sisters of Thunder are one of the most electrifying and soul-stirring ensembles in contemporary sacred music. Led by powerhouse guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader Nikki D, the group delivers a sound that is traditional and yet innovative — melding Holy Ghost fire with blues grit, heartfelt worship, and a thunderous presence lifts you up, up, up.
