-- • • ♡ “ARE YOU REALLY OK?” ♡ -- • • -- • • DAY 2: EMOTIONS -- • • As Christian women, we understand that we shouldn’t allow our emotions to control our actions or rule our inner world. Imagine if we acted on every emotional whim? Yikes! 🤯 But this doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t process our emotions and deal with them. Generations before us believed strong women should stuff their emotions and lock them away, and to some degree, we still believe that today. We think we’re stronger if we push through to the other side. But the truth is, there is no other side. The emotions stay with you, even if they’re locked in a memory closet; and the big problem is that they influence your actions and decisions if you don’t realize it. As today’s focus is on our FEELINGS, It’s a given fact that our emotions are real, but they aren’t always true. -- • • Check out the few slides from today’s devotional and be blessed and encouraged 😇 ———————————-- •-- • #christianwomen #mentalhealth #godlywoman #womeninchrist #womeninmentalhealth #womanofstrength #kingsdaughter #womeninchristbreakingglassceilings #sisterskeeper_ #rootedinchrist_ #womanofgreatness #morethanconquerors #faithfulgod #womanoffaith #godlypost #sisterskeeper #wog #inspirationalquotes #prayingwoman #inspirationalwomen #womanempoweringwoman by @sisterskeeper___

-- • • ♡ Empowered Women Empower Women ♡ -- • • Empowering women starts with you. Yes sis, YOU! Show your support for the women around you, show them they matter, and remind them they’re strong. Changing the narrative for women and seeing real change is a team effort. -- • • So I urge each and every one of you to look deeper within. Create a path where your purpose is making footprints that can help others achieve their purpose. As women, we were born empowered. Let’s empower each other through mentorship, partnership, collaboration, prayers, and to simply acknowledge and accept our differences and be of greater support in encouraging someone to take action! WE CAN DO THIS SIS! 💪🏽🙏🏾 -- • • Tag those women who have empowered you 👏🏾👏🏼 ———————————-- •-- • #christianwomen #godlywoman #womeninchrist #womanofstrength #kingsdaughter #womeninchristbreakingglassceilings #sisterskeeper_ #rootedinchrist_ #womanofgreatness #faithfulgod #womanoffaith #godlypost #sisterskeeper #wog #inspirationalquotes #prayingwoman #inspirationalwomen #womanempoweringwoman by @sisterskeeper___
-- • • ♡ “ARE YOU REALLY OK?” ♡ -- • • Happy Blessed new week SK Fam 🤗 God created us as complex beings - we have bodies, minds, souls, personalities, emotions, and more. Being healthy as humans means we pursue health holistically, not just focusing on one part of what makes us human over the others. Mental health is not discussed and dealt with within the Christian family very often, and it leaves many people feeling either alone in their struggles or unequipped in how to follow Jesus while struggling with their mental health. This is what led us to do this 6-Day devotional plan together as SISTER’S KEEPERS on mental health as many of us believe it or not are battling with this issue secretly whiles trying very hard to find renewal of strength & healing in God. -- • • Welcome to DAY # 1 of our devotion titled “ARE YOU REALLY OK?” We tend to assume we’re ok— until we’re not. Author and licensed counselor Debra Fileta challenges us on this plan to get real with who we are and how we’re doing spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically so that we can recognize where we need growth and healing. -- • • Drop by our page daily this week as we share more nuggets and gems from this devotion.🥰🙏🏾 ———————————-- •-- • #christianwomen #mentalhealth #godlywoman #womeninchrist #womeninmentalhealth #womanofstrength #kingsdaughter #womeninchristbreakingglassceilings #sisterskeeper_ #rootedinchrist_ #womanofgreatness #morethanconquerors #faithfulgod #womanoffaith #godlypost #sisterskeeper #wog #inspirationalquotes #prayingwoman #inspirationalwomen #womanempoweringwoman by @sisterskeeper___

-- • • ♡ Bringing the REAL back to Relationships ♡ -- • • -- • • -- • • KNOW YOUR GOD FEARING MAN SIS! A God Fearing Man STANDS FIRM IN FAITH. The Word of God is the foundation of a God Fearing Man in this ever-shifting culture. A God Fearing Man is one with a GODLY COURAGE. The essence of courage is to have such a great fear of God that you fear nothing else. A God Fearing Man DEMONSTRATES LOVE. By acting in love and charity, a God Fearing Man strives for and appreciates peace, forgiveness, mutual understanding, and growth. A God Fearing Man REMAINS WATCHFUL of others concerns, worries, and needs. He remains engaged and aware in his God-given role. Keep in mind that A God Fearing Man is not a FINISHED PRODUCT. He is in continued refinement and molding at the hands of God. So we must understand that no man on earth has the capability to achieve 100% God-like perfection. But by the grace of God, we can plant these seeds in our lives, through prayers we water them and watch them grow as God gives the increase. -- • • Be sure to not miss out tomorrow. After @pastackieyarboi takes us through in Knowing in depth of who our God Fearing Man is, we will pray for God to prepare our heart for what He has for us. Sis, we praying for this Godly Man, that wherever he may be, God has already begun making him into the perfect man for you. So, when you meet him, you’ll see God working these character traits in him and you will know this is from God because all this time, He has also been shaping you into a Woman of God; a helper to a God Fearing Man. -- • • ♡ Bringing the REAL back to Relationship ♡ -- • • -- • • -- • • Why REAL-ATIONSHIP? Simply because REAL means “actually existing or happening, not imaginary, not fake, false, or artificial, but important and deserving to be and have”. Nowadays, relationship last till whenever but a Real relationship that involves God is sure to last forever. A Real relationship faces REALITY together and does not rely on nor indulge in UNREALISTIC social media/societal portrayals. A GODLY REALationship does not just happen. They take time, patience and two people who are intentional about putting God first. -- • • SK Ladies, note that we are the daughters of the King: So walk like it Talk like it Dress like it Pray like it And wait for the Godly man who will treat you like it. 💃🏾💞🙏🏾 Don’t miss out on this Saturday’s session on Knowing your God Fearing Man.
