Guys, you know the OG that I am, don’t post that much, but last night was the culmination of weeks of creativity, dedication, and love from everyone involved in this incredible project.

Years ago, when @carotravers_ asked me to create a dinner for @freetheyouth_ghana in Accra, I had no idea that these guys would eventually become family.

Watching you grow, build, and stay true to your vision has been inspiring, and I am so proud of you @kellykurlz, @kweku.maposh, and @joey_lit.

It was an honor to represent the cultural mindset and ethical values that define Free The Youth through this dinner. We called it Fawohidie, inspired by the Adinkra symbol of freedom, independence, and emancipation, because it beautifully reflects your journey.

@_reussette, thank you for your incredible coordination and support. Girls, you are amazing and truly fantastic. @fatie.fkr , @vaninicarli , Yanis and @latikae you were my fantastic 4 stay blessed.

To everyone who helped bring this vision to life, thank you for trusting me and allowing me to tell a story through food. Last night was more than a dinner; it was memory, culture, community, and celebration gathered around a table. ❤️ taken in École Duperré by @sitalaure

Une expo sur le WAX à voir absolument au Musée de L’Homme dès demain, et ce jusqu’au 7 septembre 2025. De son origine insulaire jusqu’à son intronisation africaine, le wax a su se créer au delà des imitations, sa propre identité patrimoniale sur le continent. Une belle expo scindée en deux volets pour nous raconter l’histoire de ce textile et son influence dans la mode et l’art contemporain. Sublimée par les artistes invités tels que @thandiwe_muriu , @laminebadiankouyate les plasticiens Romuald Hazoumé @lamyne_m ou encore les portraits de l’illustre photographe Malick Sidibé. I feels so sad tonight, This man was one of the reason why I loved music. First time I met him, I was starting that job at Virgin Music where my first mission was to handle a week of promotion with the rap group Luniz. We went to the tv channel Canal Plus for an interview and he was there, with the singer Tamia, I couldn’t imagine the chance I had at that moment to meet the Man behind Michael Jackson biggest hits, but also Ray Charles, samy Davis Jr, amazing soundtracks like Roots, the Color Purple, track like « we are the world » ect ect …Last time was at his last show in Paris few years ago where I went to enjoy his legendary catalog, in one night. I feels so lucky to be a part of this generation who knows what music really is. Because music is not just rythm, music is life, music is joy, music is love and I couldn’t live without it.
