Filled with gratitude. It took hard work, magic, and the determination to change. I’ve accomplished a lot in the last few months. I’ve read 12 books, lost 10lbs, got a new job, and now I have more letters behind my name. I did more but that’s all I’m gonna share.

Part 3/3: Gotta Get Away Sometimes

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 This week we begin the fight against these executives that continue to lie and treat us poorly. They overwork and underpay us. How is that we take care of the sick but can’t be sick ourselves? They don’t care about us. They were working from home during COVID but every nurse was on the front line. Part 2/3: Filled with Gratitude
The week of October 26 was difficult partially because I had to smile through tears. On the 27th, we celebrated @markramirez03 traveling around the sun for his 35th time. We both unfortunately, had to work however, he is healthy and happy and life couldn’t be more beautiful. On the 29th we celebrated our first anniversary. Cheers 🥂 to many more. I honestly don’t know what I would do without this man and I’m so happy that I get to share my life experience with his wonderful soul. Again, we both had to work on our day so, we celebrated on the 31st by going to an omikase in Bankers Hill. I’ve never been a big fish person but this place has changed me. I enjoyed every second of it. Mark planned everything as a surprise and it was so lovely. by @sithlordso

Part 1/3: On a Sad/ Serious Note
The week of October 26th was a particularly difficult one. I often don’t share the intimate details of my life online but I haven’t been able to update the people I love on “how Soraya’s doing”. The week started with the loss of life. My nephew sadly took his life that Sunday. It is an almost indescribable subtle and haunting pain. Words don’t even work here so I will leave it at that.
October 31st marked the 15th year of my grandma passing away. I still think about her all the time. She visits my dreams from time to time as her spirit was always strong. Even though it’s not any easier without her, time has taught me that she never left and she’s always with me…always with us.
On top of this, I’m not afraid to say that work has been an absolute rachet mess and it’s the busiest season of the year. It was a week from hell, everyone has been pushed to their limits. It’s been hard to complete things and keep things flowing. Our union contract is up and we are about to strike. I keep hearing that it’s going to get worse before it gets better but I’ve been hearing that for the past year so…
