I know, in my videos I look like a complete maniac. Shouting, cursing, splitting lanes, and going full speed through the traffic. But that “madness” is actually just raw experience. I t’s knowing the streets inside out and knowing exactly how to survive and make yourself respected out there. But look, there’s a time to be wild and a time to be human. When I saw this dad teaching his little girl how to ride in the street, I just couldn’t pass by. I got behind them, looked at him and said: “I’m just protecting her, don’t worry” And I literally became their human shield against the cars for a good chunk of the road. Some moves look crazy from the outside. But before certain decisions, there’s a moment nobody sees: the calculation. You study the speed. The distance. The timing. The space. What’s ahead of you. What’s beside you. And most importantly, you understand the consequences of getting it wrong. Because sometimes the difference between making it through and paying a serious price is a fraction of a second, a few centimetres, one wrong calculation. What I did here wasn’t smart, and it’s not something to imitate. The point is deeper than the overtake. In life, confidence without awareness is recklessness. But awareness without the courage to act becomes hesitation. And hesitation, once you’ve already committed to a dangerous situation, can be just as costly as a bad decision. Fear is information. Respect it. But never let panic take control of your actions. Study the situation. Understand the risk. Know your limits. Make your decision before the moment makes it for you. And remember: sometimes the strongest decision isn’t going for the gap.
